I started getting hits and my fist topwater this year a few weeks back when water hit 53 so id guess 55 would be perfect, Also im in nc this was on lake wiley nc/sc border

I took my lil one to BPS the other day to get a rod and she picked up a 5ft bps pole *pink of corse* she WOULD NOT put it down, she wouldnt even let the cashier take it to ring it up! lol Had to coax her with pink worms - so she is fitted (like a pink panther) hope we catch somthing (gona go for cat in our stocked pond) next weeked. How often do kids break poles? My 2yr old girl likes to wack things with it such as the truck the dog her mom....

Co worker has a wood shop in his basment hopin i can conn him into building one.

think thats bad try launching while your rope from the crank is attached to the boat... than sittin in the boat for 20 min thinking somthing is wrong with Reverse... OR My buddy iceman....WOW where to start ' We just bought my boat We launch at midnit (things that make you feel stupid are all over this one) he is in the boat im in the truck. i launch him out .... Pull truck to parking spot and walk to the ramp and watch him.... he jumps 8 foot from the boat to the dock holding the docking rope in his hand and misses the dock by a inch falling in the water...Why you ask? He forgot about the Engine, Trollin motor and.... paddles thinking he was gona be stranded so he decided to jump and save himself and my boat.... I dont know who felt more like an Idiot....

I have no idea what species we have here in Nc but im pretty sure it wasn't an alligator gar. I hate to sound like a broken record but are they nocturnal? I havn't come up with this information from search engines. Also, do they live in ponds?
