Craziest/coolest Animal
Beavers, otters, deer, fox, coyotes, eagles, herons and other birds, non poisonous snakes, we have a flock of pelicans every spirng I have no Idea what they are doing in northern IL. If you have never seen a swan up close, they are tremendous birds. Ran into moose and bear in Canada, and gators in FL and SC

Kids & Bait.....
Sounds like you got the next Mike Iconelli on your hands. LOL I probably would have never tried fishing if it weren't for my dad, grandpa, and aunt. It's a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. Kudos to you for keeping the ball rolling and keeping the Bait Monkey employed. My son ocassionally acts like Ike on the water when he's frustrated. He got that from his mother.

Hard To Believe It...
Bought my son his first (yeah right) beer this year. Kinda awkward. Enjoy them when they're young because you'll miss them when their older and have their own lives to live.

Get Rid Of Your Nfl Jerseys Now!
Funny because ganbangers don't wear colors too much in Chicago anymore. It got too much attention. Long white tshirts seems to be the norm. Can't figure out why they always forget to roll down 1 pant leg though....

Here Ya Go Slonzep
I love every one of them. The episode that really got me hooked was the christmas episode the first season. Santa was skydiving and his chute didn't open. All you see is Santa, thru the patio door, slam into the ground. I haven't seen the episode with the band Anthrax as a special gues. Only clips of it.

Salmon Fishing....
I have fished the Root River in Racine and had a king break a light action rod. If you use a stiffer action rod spool the reel with no more than 15 lb mono. A lighter action rod, 15lb flouro or maybe 20lb braid. This set up is for shock absorbtion more than anything when casting cranks or spoons. Using spawn I'd stay away from the braid strictly because of the visibility. Just use a circle hook and put on a small chunk of fresh skein if you can get it otherwise a spawn sac will do. (Skein is the eggs before they detach from the membrane) You can also use 2 or 3 corn kernals on a hook. Red Play Dough is another one I forgot to mention earlier. In water withlow or no current, mini marshmallows work. They float, so put just enough of a splitshot to keep them down.

Salmon Fishing....
The guys who shore fish Lake Michigan use the 9' rods to cast way the hell out there. Didn't know they had salmon in the Chippawa. Been to the Linenkugal Brewery though. Wish I could be more help. Did you try lake-link?

Salmon Fishing....
Heading to Lake Michigan? Will you be casting from shore? Casting from a boat? Early or late season? From shore you'll want probably a 9' spinning setup. From the threads I've read, the shore guys use Fireline Crystal, couldn't tell you what lb test. I cast from a boat and have the ability to follow the fish. I use bass rods and as far as reels, Abu Toro and Abu C3 5500, spooled with Samauri 55lb braid. Most guys who throw spoons swear bt KO Wobbler 3/4 oz. I throw cranks. I still have some Berkeley Frenzys which have outperformed any other crank. Countdowns, Fat Free Shad, 3-4" range, gold with a black back, silver with a black back, white with a black backduring the light hours. After dark, chrome Rattletraps or firetiger countdowns or jointed Rapalas. Change out the hooks on the cranks to larger heavier trebels or single hooks. Late season use spawn, marshmallows, or corn. These are all Lake Michigan Wisconsin fish Look up some old Gillespies Waters and Woods shows for more info

Albright Knot Failed On Hookset
Make sure you cinch down the tags ends tight, then the line ends, then the tag ends again. That will prevent any more failures.

Jig's - What's Your Favorite Jig + Trailer?
WHY ARE YOU YELLING? I've been using Northstar jigs for a few years and highlyrecommend them. As far as trailers, I've used Ragecraws this year as recommended by the guys here and haven't been disappointed. For swimjigs I like Poorboys Kickin' Darters, Kietech Impact, and Big Bite baits Cane Thumper. The Cane Thumper lasts longer than than Kickin' Darter. Keitech are awfully expensive but do work well

What's Your Comfy Non-Inflatable Jacket?
For me, I'm better off with the inflatable. I'm guilty of not wearing a pfd. When I tourney fish, pfd is required when big motor is on. With regular pfd's I'd take them off as soon as I get to my spot. Bought the Mustangs for this past season. I keep the Mustang on all day and don't even notice it.
