  1. If things go as planned I will have new windows, gutters, and siding in the spring.. If not well...If I had 15-20k I'd do it right now it'd be done. Been working on the house weekends for the last 5 years. Gutted to the studs. All new electric, plumbing, hvac, floors, insulation, drywall, roof appliances and what have you. Just looking for a cheap fix til spring. Sils are decent. window frames are rotted on about 1/2 the windows. All on the bottom right corner. House never had gutters which has promoted the window and siding rot..
  2. We used to have Stuckys up north...in the 70's

  4. Somebody stole the motor! Looks pretty clean. Hope you catch plenty of fish out of it
  5. Problem is, it's not the sil thats rotted. It's the window frame. As far as boarding up the windows,I'd be worried about squatters thinking the house is abandond. The house is in a somewhat heaviiy trafficed area in Wisconsin Dells 100ft from the river. We've always tried to make sure it looks like someone is living in the house, but still have to ocassionaly pick up beer bottles in the front yard during the "season" Also don't want any of the local ne'er-do-wells thinking it's abandonded.
  6. Squatch ya gonna do?
  7. We have a summer home which needs windows badly but don't have the funds right now. Some of the windows have a good anount of rot. My plan is to repair the rot and paint to get thru the winter and worry about replacing them in the spring. We've gutted and remodeled the entire house and I'm worried about water/snow melt causing damage on the interior walls of the home. I've searched online and it looks like this http://bondo.com/products/household/bondo-wood-filler-20082.html will accomplish what I need. Anyone use this product, have suggestions for another product or another way to go abour repairs? Thanks

  12. As others have said, check with the state regs. If you tournament fish, then it is 18. If you don't mind me asking, What is a boaters license?

  14. If a female bass has a suitable mate, she will drop her eggs if you practice C&R. If you fry her up in oil and breading chances are she won't
  15. If it smells funky.......... Nope.
  16. Having problems with my transducer kicking up all the time. Boat is an aluminum deep v. There is a pretty good rooster tail when running (Too low in the water maybe?). Anyway, I screwed the kick up bracket down and it broke today. Was fine on calm water but I hit some major boat wakes and that's when it broke. You can see in the pic it was mounted near the bottom center of the board. I can raise it up maybe an inch to inch and a half. Do you think that will help? Or is there somewhere else I should mount it? If it matters, I get good side and down pics on the starboard side. The port side gets interference from the motor. I have heard guys will mount a second transducer on the port side and connect with a Y cable. I may consider that if I can get the kick up issue fixed. Thanks.
  17. Not a fan of the LCP put it packs quite a punch for such a little gun. I've got big hands. For me, it doesn't feel comfortable to shoot. I have a Bersa .380 which feels much more comfortable. The LCP serves its purpose as a "in a pinch" firearm
  18. When I was boatless, I spent alot of time fishing the lakefront in Chicago. Big rats and homeless drug addicts litter the lakefront during the early morning hours.
  19. To all you southerners, What's with all the trampolines? Every freaking yard has one. What's with all the chinese restaurants? You guys have chinese buffets like Wisconsin has bars. I do look forward to Waffle House. Such filthy restaurants with such good eats.
  20. So what's normal. That big brown trout...Did you keep it?
