  1. Make sure the chart speed is set to equal the speed of the boat. Example:boat speed 4mph chart speed #4. Sensitivity should be between 9-11 to start with and adjust as needed.
  2. All you need to do is smile to kill your enemies lol
  3. EVERYTHING manufactured would have to have some type of a title that would allow the transfer or sale..Can't see this happening.
  4. NICE! That's a big crappie for northern IL. Got my PB at Heideke when it was still a powerplant lake. 15" 1lb 14oz. If you don't mind me asking, what lake were you fishing? If you do mind, I understand completely.
  5. Osama Bin Laden was living with 3 wives in one compound and never left the house for 5 years. It is now believed he called the Navy Seals himself.

Great end? There's still 2 minutes left. I made some extra spending cash
  12. Nailed it. $2.50-$4 around here
  13. Believe it or not, electronics will not magicaly catch fish for you. In addition to what was already said, anywhere the shoreline changes. Like, from a metal seawall to dirt and gravel or sand, or if you have a slopeing shoreline connected to a steep shoreline. There is a good chance those characteristics will carry on under water.
  14. Went thru similar surgery a couple years ago. Last time rotator cuff, this time cartiadge and whatnot.. Gonna winterize the boat tomorrow and detail it.. If all goes well, a new boat for next season, and I'll have to sell this one.
  15. Next Tuesday I will be having surgery on my left shoulder. 6 months recovery time, so I should be ready just in time for the spawn. Decided to pack up and head up to Door County with my son in hopes to catch some zombie kings(king salmon ready to spawn and die) Stopped at BPS and grabbed a 2 day Great Lakes license and on we went. Arrived in Sister Bay at 7pm on the water at 7:30. Not a salmon in sight. I've been doing this trip for 30 years and I have caught the skunk more than once but never, in all the years have not even seen a zombie king. Until this year. None whatsoever. Got to have something to do with the warm summer and lack of rain is my guess. Water temp is still almost 60 degrees and almost dead calm. Anyway, we started casting cranks and rattletraps in the hopes of hooking into a big king. After 20 minutes, fish on. Not the brown fish we were looking for, but It'll do LOL. This would be my only bite of our 24hr trip. My son picks up 1 right away and loses a slob of a fish Picks up one more shortly after and loses another We figure 3 for 5 in 2 hours, Tomorrows gonna be awsome...Not so. Launched in Sister Bay at around 7:30am and found nothing but a small school of whitefish. The wind started calm but was steadily picking up. Put the boat back on the trailer around 9 and headed down to Sturgeon Bay. He pulled a nice one off Larsons Reef, that had a golfball sized abscess or wound on its belly. Winds were soon blowing 20 and we took water over the bow. Time to get moving. Headed back to the flats in the ship canal but not another bite. Made the 5hr trek home.
  16. It can be done. I used to run a portable like that 30 years ago. Make sure you fuse the + to prevent damage to the finder. 3 amp inline glass or automotive type. The fuses and fuse holders can be found at any auto parts store. Eventualy a rechargable is the way you'll want to go.
  17. I saw a one legged terrorist with no arms at the ATM today. He asked me to check his balance, so I pushed the !%$@ over .....

  19. Wonder what kind of scent was on the finger. Booger?
  20. Three surgeons were discussing what type of patient is the easiest to operate on. The first surgeon said he prefers electricians because everything is labelled and color coded. The second disagreed stating librarians are easier because everthing is in alphabetical order The third surgeon won the arguement by stating politicians made the best patients: they have no brains, no heart, no spine, no balls, no guts and their head and ass are interchangeable. The doctors concurred with his findings.

  22. Don't know about forbidding kids from reading at home, but my sister pulled my neice and nephew out of public school and put them in private because, in the case of my neice, there were remedial kids in her class and the teaching was dumbed down. In the case of my nephew, who is intelligent but slightly autistic, didn't have the cirriculum for his advancement. Don't know if it's in the news elsewhere, but Chicago public school teachers just went thru a strike, which was IMO more political than anything. One of the issues under discussion was merit pay. 40% drop out rate for CPS students. If a teacher cannot spell well, then.... Now, teachers don't always grade their papers. My sister(same as above) is a part time college professor. She pays her employees (my son) to grade the classes papers.
