Pike don't care about anything. I've had them literally jump into the boat chasing swimjigs. I've caught them while bluegill fishing and by bluegill fishing, I was reeling in bluegill and the pike grabbed on to them. I will say these are generally immature snot rockets that feed without concern. Almost like a freshwater shark. Big pike are not so easily lured.

Reminds me of this only not as annoying... Sorry....My balls shrivel up when bears or gators are involved.

I'm from Chicago. First time I ever fished with gators was at Santee Cooper. Freaked the hell out of me.

Going to do some local river smallie fishing this weekend. Weather like I've had in Chicago as of late would mean off shore fishing up north. Going up north in 2 weeks. Hoping to get out and fish and not just go apple picking with the women.....

My Tundra with the 5.7 got an average of 15mpg without the trailer and maybe 12mpg with it. My Ford with the 6.2 and 3.73 rear end gets 12mpg with or without the trailer. What gear ratio is the rear end on your Chevy? That might explain the 23mpg.

The 5.7 is pretty bullet proof. I'm guessing they went to the 6 to meet EPA requirements

I had a Gen 1 Talon on my Lund. 9 years trouble free. My only complaint was it didn't like cold weather. If the temps were in the 30's or below, getting it to deploy for the first time during the day would sometimes take multiple pushes of the deploy button on the remote and/or the Talon itself. After getting it going the first time, it would work fine the rest of the day.
