probably my fuego and 7.3mh vendetta with my curado e7 and cumera 6.8 mef .... hard choice but i like fishing toads so thats were the vendetta wins.

yah its true markup is ridiculous on everything. i imagine once you get the cost of the machine done with materials are probably so cheep as a bulk buy. but as long as your having a good time using your gear thats all that counts.

funny you say that ... not a wrx but pretty much the same thing ... i haven't handled a cumulus but i have a cumara and a vendetta and i seem to be grabbing the vendetta more ... but i will give it to you its more refined..ie lambo... but is the performance really that different. But your right if i had the budget .. id be all cumulus .... ... or maby a custom super awsome horny toad rod.... ;D ;D ;D....

i use the lil bags that come in shoes and other random things, any time i get them i just throw them in the hook or jig box

yeah they were defiantly on at briery this morning i probably caught 20 on top water frogs between 6-730 kinda died down after the sun came out ... went a lil deeper caught a few but nothing 5+...... cant beat a toad bite though ;D

got to dicks you can get a silvermax on a lighting rod for 50 bux most of the time and then use a $10 coupon and i think it has a $20 buck rebate.

i dont think the new sx has the dual braking and the spool has a 1pc spool shaft, i think the stx has 2 like a daiwa. id say see if TW has a memorial day sale and get an stx.... ..... or and E7 ...

i think if i were gunna spend that kind of cash id get a steez or the MB zonda

yah pp seams to do that fireline braid seems to do it a good bit less except the first few times you use it your thumb will turn green, green fireline doesnt seem to lose its color as fast but the same cant be said for their tracer braid.

bear creek is ok but if you can go to winston, arrowhead or oak hill down the road their i think you will have alot better luck. ive fished that lake since i was little and alot of people at bear creek keep EVERYTHING they catch. same goes for the other lakes too but ive had alot better luck at those. as far as if your shore fishing walk around the trail on the other side of the beach(were the canoes are) area it goes around the lake to some spots that might be a lil better. if your staying in the cabins id stick to fishing that side of the lake. but good luck. id say throw some senkos and flukes and have some fun.

look for the 7'6 abu vengence rod and a used citica or revo s in the flee market, and dicks sporting goods has power pro (50lb or 65) for $10 alot of times that would cover you pretty well.
