  7. i've got the 7.3 paired with a zillion its a sweet set up for big jigs and worms.
  8. leader if you feel like you need it, around rocks for mee.
  9. their are all kinds of spots to wade in rva, just have to decide how many fences you want to jump or train tracks. bells island is good lots of people though, if you can get in around james river park your options open up alot.
  10. yah might have to go hit DSG's up
  11. hey thanks guys it will definatly be trailered. but i like that it has a pretty sizable casting deck and i can do my own thing with it insted of getting a used bass tracker or something similar. i have a 14-36 alumacraft now and it just feels really tight, especially when you get a buddy in the boat with you swinging a swimbait past your head.
  12. so im looking at this one http://www.trackerboats.com/boat/specs.cfm?boat=3304 want something around this, mostly gunna go on small lakes and the james river. mostly want something that i have a less chance of falling out of. but I am new to this boat buying stuff. so maby you guys know what might be a better boat or some deal going on. lemme know -john
  13. http://www.***.com/Lews_Tournament_Pro_Speed_Spool_Casting_Reel/descpage-TPSS.html this thing looks pretty sweet, i know for the most part its a revo but the specs are dang impressive. has anyone had their hands on this one yet??? well i guess i should have looked a few threads down :-/
  14. friday the 21st thats most likely when i will go.
  15. so whats the date that all the BR people are gunna go, getting close now.
  16. haha thats pretty good ill have too keep my eyes open out at the goodwills in RVA for the other reels you might have dropped off.
  17. fuego's end of 09, sols just kinda gradually faded out but summer 10 if i had to put a time on it. i could be wrong though. but yah dont know why they discontinued them, guess they want you to buy zillions.
  18. xf is very stiff, with braid a softer action is preferable which a mod-fast or fast is better. some people even use a 1 power less rod with braid. think of it like a spring.
  19. i looked for this thread the other day and couldnt find it, glad it got bumped. Wayne is definatly the person to ask about briery, hes defiantly got a method its something to see him work his way up the lake, methodical is the word.
  20. id say hard fast. i think an xf with a rod that long and braid could make you jerk the bait out of the fish's mouth.
  21. I thought it was great. But your right if cogbrn drank white Russians it would have been rooster lebowski.
  22. http://www.***.com/Zoom_Super_Speed_Craw_4_8pk/descpage-ZSSDC.html SPEED CRAW. i really like these alot.

i love a bitsy bug but the bitsy flip is the killer
