  2. the kipawa ones are awsome. drains your battery alot less too.
  3. its tough stuff. breaks at about 22lbs if i remember. defiantly would be good for spinnerbaits and such.
  4. http://www.***.com/Team_Daiwa_Viento_Casting_Reels/descpage-TDVI.html id go with one of these
  5. i got one in from TW yesterday and its a sweet rod i defiantly think it will be great for deep cranks. its really powerful and balances out well with most reels i have a revo s on it now but i think a curado e series would balance out just as well.
  6. i work for a large retail store and deal with and margin's are huge on most item's usually 70%-150% on large items. but your right they make a killing on the small stuff. thats why they try to push all those extras. high tech things dont have much markup except when they first come out. i imagine bass pro is making a killing all that stuff is high margin except mabey for guns not to sure about them.
  7. good choice now go catch some fish... as long as you dont have the hard water problem >

i bought 2 packs when they first came out. rigged them ika style and pitched them around laydowns and stuff that looked fishy, definatly a good idea if the fish have seen a lot of senkos. but used them neko rigged for the first time this fall and they are really awsome like that.
  9. i have a sahara 1000 that i use for the light stuff, its defiantly been a good reel for me this year. but i recently picked up a diawa excelcer 1500(old one) and that is one sweet reel for about 50 bux. all aluminum, 2 crbb and a free spool.
  10. black sharpie does wonders, i played with leaders for a year or so now and personally i dont think their worth the trouble. even in gin clear water they didnt seem to care.
  11. zoom salty super fluke
  12. sounds like it should be nice, enjoy the heck out of it.
  13. actually jackall does make rods, and most megabass reels are just suped up daiwas. hope this turns out to be a sweet venture shimano, i hope we see some of it stateside.
  14. veritas is defiantly worth the extra 10 bux. super sensitive and well balanced.
  15. veritas hands down you cant find a rod with better features at that price point. titanium sic guides, nano tech, well balanced and exposed reel seat. http://www.***.com/Abu_Garcia_Veritas_Casting_Rods/descpage-AGVRC.html
  16. nah one of each but im pretty much done for the year. but let me know
  17. Virginia is rollin deep on this fourm lately. welcome
  18. if your in chesterfield, if you want to try them out let me know.
  19. i have the 7.6H vendetta and the 7.3MH and the 7.6 is a beast, heavy grass or when you really dont want to play around. you defiantly will have the dink come flying at you if you set the hook hard with braid. The 7.3 is real good big worm and jig excellent pitching and roll cast. id say the 7.3 is a better all around rod while the 7.6 is a specilized tool.
  20. https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://www.blackfday.com/blackfday.com-gander.pdf enjoy!!1
  21. wayne knows what he's doing defiantly the most reputable source for info for briery.
  22. ive done it with 2 roboworms on octopus hooks with 2 palomor knots
  23. i had a hook break one treble one time when fishing rocks, but they were sharp.
  24. 10/2 power pro or something similar i like braid on a spinning reel. its alot more manageable.
