  7. ahh cool thanks.. so that is a boating lake then?
  8. hey thanks man.. did i explain it enough to understand? when i 1st started i was kinda worried about doing it but as i went along the vision got clearer. so now it looks like it will be just how i wanted it. im also messing with the rear of the boat, batts, wiring, deck, and adding the carpet at some point. so its not a bad job, if i can do it anyone can lol. the hardest part is getting a good idea in your head of what ya wanna do then follow through. if you run into a situation where ya need to make a change just roll with it.
  9. i like it very nice
  10. yeah hehe.. i was worried about that too! i layed both pieces in the middle and hanging over the edge of the boat. then marked them using the edge of the boat to get the shape. flipped the wood over then made the 1st cut. then layed them back in the middle, eyeballed and marked again. once they fit in the boat i made some trim cuts to get it right (or close lol)
  11. in pic #2 you can see the new extended deck with the TM pedal recessed and storage cutouts ready for the lids. on the left side the oars will slide under the new deck.
