Most of the time I use a spinner bait to search from shore. If you prefer slow and with soft plastics I would suggest a split shot rig with a baby rage craw, or smaller curly tail worm. You can fish it faster than a Texas rigged worm, but it is slower than a spinnerbait. A slow, but constant, retrieve with few pauses or pops here and there is how i usually fish it. If you go the route of a spinnerbait, just fan cast everywhere, with a constant retrieve. Make sure to give it some action, don't just reel it straight in. Jerk, pop, pause it. Speed it up and slow it down. Size 3/8oz and white is what I recommend.

South east michigan got anywhere from 3-6 inches. My area got about 5. I wish we got 24 or even 12.

Ya, I'm just dropping it, returned the key today. Telling the government on him will only give me more problems that I don't need. This weeks been bad enough. I appreciate everybody taking the time to try and help me though. Cooking at Ruby Tuesdays now.

I'm not underage and i dunno even what a condition of employment is. I'm just letting it go. This weeks been super aggravating. Couldn't pay my dad back, was unable to go snowboarding.....can't do anything because I have no money! I'd love to give him a walloping. But that's what my heavy bag is for.

Ya I don't think it is enough to go to small claims court for. And the checks were just like personal checks he'd write out.

I would love to give him all sorts of trouble and call the labor board, and pay the back taxes. But I'm so broke there would be no way i could do it. I understand he thinks I stole the money, but he has no proof at all and isn't even considering anybody else. And that is what really gets me heated. The key thing was more of a joke. No way would I try stealing or breaking things inside. He's lucky I'm not that kind of guy. Will be chalking it up as a life lesson, but I'm not forgetting.

So I quit my last job at a car wash due to an assortment of problems. One of my checks bounced and haven't gotten paid for two other weeks. He went on vacation money was stolen and he thought I did it and said to meet him on Monday to "square up" and that I would be held responsible for the stolen money.He wont answer his phone, and when I went to the car wash today (where I quit from) to pick up a sweatshirt, and see if he was there, I found an envelope with my name on it. Inside was a check for 40. I was d**n near blown away to see that was what he saw fit to pay me for 3 weeks, on the sole fact that he THINKS I stole money. Which I most certainly did not! I'd be more worried about the alcoholic and crackhead that worked with me! I'm not sure how to go about this other than catch him at the car wash and confront him. Can the police be called? What can I do? I'm ready to rip somebody up right now.

Nice advice snook. I just applied to my local DICKs, they know nothing about fishing, they need me. Asked them if they had any 3/4oz football jigs (they didnt...),the lady tried to sell me some walleye jigs, saying they should work the same.

Rage craw in bama craw and a keel weighted hook. Super deadly combo. Also get some super flukes in pearl. Definitely one of my top baits. Pearl seems to work wherever and whenever.

Weighed swimbait hook. I like the 5inch and 3.5inch. Although I have more success with the 3.5inch. Bluegill is my preferred color.

Although I would normally cry about not being able to bass fish in December, I've taken up snowboarding and have been welcoming the cold temperatures and snow. Unfortunately there is no snow atm =/. Great fish though! I'm pretty sure I can make it. My finals for school are not till the 8th. This will be a great way to start off my season this year.

Though you may not know by just meeting me, I'm very methodical and meticulous when I do things. I work better when going slow. So it fits that soft plastics are my favorites.

Omg yes. I would gladly put one on my kayak! Like jig meister said, guys in yaks are low on the totem pole.

It snowed today in Michigan. I think the kayaks stayin away till April lol
