Technique
Not a technique but I plan to fish a lot more. If I had to pick one Item to work on It would be learning all I can about eraly jerkbait fishing. I have seen this work with great success and have never really given it a fair shot.

Blizzard!
These threads always make me smile. It's very amusing to see the I drive 70 miles an hour in 15 feet of snow with the windows down, in my speedo, without the heater being on all the while blindfolded and have never had a wreck, crowd come out in full force. Pavlov would have been Impressed. I will now go back to my Winter misery. Seven (7) inches of this white crap and counting.........Winter sucks.

My absolute most fun lure to fish is........
Dark night, jig/zoom big dead ringer/double wide beaver. The thump......hook set.......and the lack of sight makes this the most exciting feeling I can have.

How much unopened tackle do you have?
Maybe more than I should or maybe not. In the end If I want it, within reason, I buy it. I have not gotten to fish as much the last two years and that has led to many a purchase. I don't worry about it that much because at this stage of my life I have the ability to buy what I need and evidently that has been aplenty. Unopened..... Hmmmm.... Perhaps the question, for me anyway, should be I have no clue because If I bought It I needed it? LOL Yes, we'll go with that.

New Years Resolution
This Is so Important, not only in fishing but daily life. I fail at this more than I succeed. Thanks for the reminder AJ! As for any resolutions I make; Personal growth in my daily life Is one I make every year and this year Is no different. BUT, this year I'm going to narrow the scope just a bit and commit to doing what I can to be a better mentor to the youngins' around these parts.

This thread Illustrates why BassResource Is not only a great place to learn but also the gracious manner with which communication Is exhibited! Well done y'all! Catt, thanks for this! I'm 55 years young and seem to always learn something or see something that makes me think. What a great place!
