@MarkH024 I took the liberty of copying the pictures and I found out It Is in fact a Jenson frog and was named "froglegs plugger". I'm gathering more Information and will edit this post when more Information comes in. This bait came out of Austin Texas. I'm trying to find out the year(s) now. It's from the Jenson bait company out of Austin, sorry for the mis-Identification Mark.

Mark, you have some really neat stuff from your grandaddies box. I think the shadow box Is an outstanding Idea. It would always be a reminder of your gandaddy. The frog; I don't know but If I can copy that picture (with your permission) I can show It to a couple of guys that will know.

Soak them in buttermilk. I personally like them thee way they are but soaking them In buttermilk will take some of the fishy taste out.

@OCdockskipper I have several packages of the Zoom 4" dead ringer. I use them when the bite Is tough and also on a Siebert Outdoors Zenith shakeyhead!
