Money saving tricks, ideas, and homemade stuff
While I buy old discontinued Rebel baits, the thing that has saved me more money than anything is this; as I fish from year to year I know exactly what I like to fish and what works for me. Yes, I still buy some things that strike my fancy but the simplification of bait selection has saved me hundreds of dollars a year. I also now take care of my equipment on a much more regular schedule. I have reels that are over 20 years old that are in excellent working condition. I do have many newer reels but If I have a problem my back-ups are more than adequate. The last thing I want to share is this: I tend to fun fish more and more and simply having fun, taking In the sights and sounds of nature, and never taking for granted the time I get to spend on the water, well, you can't "buy" that.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I have been looking for a Rebel ball cap for quite a while and I finally found one. I also bought a set of Rebel Deep wee r's circa 1980, give or take a year, in the flat finish. The more I see of these types of baits the more I like them.

beaver style baits.Whats your favorite and why?
I like the sweet and smallie beaver from Reaction Innovations. The sweet Beaver for fishing the nastiest cover I can fish and the smallie beaver on a Siebert Outdoors Zenith shakeyhead in and out of cover.

Your 2017 Fishing Goals
In years past I tried to be quite detailed In what I wanted to do. The past two years there have been many changes In my life and many commitments that took precedence over fishing. I don't regret any of this as these things were Important. The above being said my goals for 2017 are simple. 1. I will finally get a new boat (maybe my last one)....My wife and I have decided what will best fit our needs and surprisingly enough she was solidly on board with the boat I really wanted. 2. I want to learn my boat and all that goes with that, fish as much as I can, and as much as anything I want to fish, have fun, and spend some great quality time on the boat with my wife. That's It.

Bass Room
I need to get some pictures of some older baits I have hung up and my grand daddy's fishing rods which are hung on the wall. It's a confined space In the new(ish) home we bought a little over a year ago and Is still a work In progress. I don't know If this is what you're looking for Glenn but It's what I have. lol
