  1. I definitely agree with Pondfreak. Another thing thoug, if you fish a particular spot with reaction baits for a while and stop getting bites, it's not a bad idea to slow down and fish that spot with a plastic or jig. Just my two cents.
  2. Great fish! I'd say 7 and 1/2 at least
  3. Totally agree! I have a dobyns rod, and it is the best one I own. When it comes to an all purpose rod, I would go with a MH over a M.
  4. I've had a pflueger supreme xt for about a year now, and I love it! It's price tag is also a little cheaper at $150

That's definitely what it sounds like to me too
  6. Great catch, congrats!
  7. That is a great day, congrats! And nice fish
  8. Crazy story! Nice job saving yourself and the fish
  9. Sounds like fun, good luck on Story lake as well
  10. Great fish! And 4 fish for 33lbs isn't too shabby either
  11. I have the 6'6" MHF and like Phranchise1213 said they are tip heavy, but they are also very durable. Not top of the line, but definitely well made for the price.
  12. I have a Vendetta rod and it's definitely worth the $80 I paid for it. I don't know much about the orra, but when it comes to the vengeance rod and black max reel they're both decent values for the price. AKA you get what you pay for.
  13. Wow, what a great fish! Congrats on the new PB!
  14. That's a beauty Dwight
  15. Nice job, getting the first one of the year is always fun
  16. KVD, Ike, Casey Ashley
  17. cotton cordell big-o, lipless cranks, any small plastics 3"-5" (I prefer yum dingers, super flukes, craw imitations etc.), jigs (1/4 and 1/2 oz) assuming the pond isn't very deep, and 1/4 or 3/8 oz spinnerbaits.
  18. Again, great story and congrats on following your intuition and being able to catch that fish!
  19. Great job! I got my first win last summer, and it feels awesome!
  20. That sounds awesome!
