Lizard are my go to bait during the spawn...other than bluegills they might be the biggest egg eaters..always seem to get my biggest girls on them
  17. Always had luck dropshotting in winter..
  18. pre-spawn-jerkbaits and traps spawn-ragetail lizards..worms until you find right size and color that t's them off and have had luck with s. jerkbaits sitting right above them
  19. 80% Carolina Rigged 20% Texas Rigged........though i do prefer Rage Tail Lizards
  20. Red Eye's i use in deeper water cause they have a quicker sink..and traps in shallow cause they seem to ride a little better right above the weeds...but my fav. are def. x-caliburs!
  21. Def. use a trailer on smaller buzzbaits and most of the time i don't on a larger buzzbait but people differ on that one.
  22. Do try diff. speeds? Has that little bit of success been with other top water lures? Should be a little easier to catch them during the day this time of year but still best morning and evenings. p.s. also have better luck with some ruffles on the surface
