Braid to mono/flouro knot problems
I have 55 lb braid, it's the same diameter as 10lb mono..I tie 12 to 15 lb yozuri hybrid to it for a leader..using the uni to uni knot..I have thrown 2 oz swimbaits, and 1 oz jigs with it..never had a knot problem. But, when I tried the Trilene 100% fluro, I had some breakage issue's..seems the line would break right below my knot that joined the fluro to the braid. Even though your joining braid and fluro, it's best to spit on the fluro..to keep it from burning.. Oh, my uni to uni goes 8 loops on the braid side, and 6 on the fluro side..cinch em up slowly, tie the other side, cinch that up slow, then spit on the knots again, and tighten em up..

Bags vs untility box
My Son takes his out the bags, I do to, except I put them in ziploc bags so the JJ's magic doesn't stink everything up.. ;D Then I store them in my 3700 storage box's which go in my back pack..

Shimano Sonora spinning reel
Hmmm..I have a Solitice that was given to me last Christmas. A little cleaning, and lube, and a ton of use..and it still works like new. Is should mention, that reel is used a minimum of 4 times a week.. The difference is a graphite frame on the Sonora vs. an aluminum frame on the Sahara. The Sahara also has shielded anti-rust bearings. It is a great value at $75. With reasonable care and maintenance, it will last longer than you will need it to. Any spinning reel falling lower in the product line-up than the Sahara should not be considered, in my opinion, due to the fact that they are graphite framed.

Line For Weightless T-Rigs
Ha, try throwing a 6" roboworm on a baitcaster.. ;D Unless I'm throwing a senko, or a bait that weighs about the same, I'm using my spinning rig. Same as RW 6lb test..At the present time, I'm trying out the Seaguar Invisx..so far, me likey..

What should I fish in the pond behind my house?
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with the match the hatch thang...Here's why, there are numerous ponds and lakes around the country that do Not have, trout, yet there are Bass caught on trout swimbaits, and topwater plugs. Sometimes I think we try to overthink what it takes to catch fish. Bass are preditors, they are teritorial, and will generally hit anything that looks ediable. I fish a lake that has no Tilapia in it, yet I've caught 4 pretty nice bass with it. Find the fish, and toss whatever tickles their fancy. Start with topwater and work down.

Also the Sharah is a good reel..runs about 80.00.. I also have theSondona, but prefer the Sharah.

Whats a good rod and good line for fishing small worms?
For line..I'd give Seaguar Invisx a try, kinda spendy but it's low memory, and seems to havea decent break strenght..I normally use yozuri hybrid ultrasoft..both of these lines are the 6 lb test. The seaguar is thinner than the youzuri, so you could go 8lb if you wanted to.

Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon
The seaguar 6lb is almost as small as the trilene 4lb..I bought some of the invizx, it's Nice..so far..

Line for jigs

good swim bait.
Well, we don't have any problems catching big bass on the paddletail crap here in Clear water..

good swim bait.
If the pond has some structure, i.e. wood, big rocks ect, you may want to get a slowsink. If it has weeds ect, then I would go with a soft weedless bait, the grassminow would be a good start too. Keep in mind that bigger fish will be more inclined to smack the bigger baits, yet the smaller ones will still have a go after them. There's really No right answer, even here in cali, swimbaits differ in certain areas..You could try whatever your comfy with.

good swim bait.
You didn't say if you wanted a 'hard" or soft bait. Also the size/weight may require a heavier rod. For example, the huddleston 6" trout which is a soft bait is a proven fish catcher, and a great bait to start with, however it weighs around 2 ozs. and should be thrown with line in the 12-17lb range depending on the line you use. The Hudd, also comes in a weedless version. For smaller baits, you could try the BBZ 4" shad baits, or a soft bait like the basstrix ect. The Hudd 6" baits run about 17.00. you can check them out at TW..

Help with flippin light jigs
A flip is a 7 to 9' deal, maybe you are making a underhand pitch..? On a flip, I have my lure/jig in my left hand, then w/o any line spooling off the reel, I flip the lure to where I want it. That's not to say you can't flip further, it just takes practice. About the furthest I can flip is about 25' with a 1/2 oz jig.

Line for jigs
For braid..hands down Diawa Samuri..not cheap, but it's limp, there's no waxy build up, no breaking it in..cast's Great..I use the 55Lb..with a 12, or 15 lb yozuri leader. If I'm in real heavy cover, I'll use straight braid.
