  1. I'd bet there's more than a few DD bass in there. I should head over there with the 8" swimbaits..
  2. I agree..all of mine are 3700's.
  3. Yep, seems like All city lakes except Laguna have the green tint to it. I use mostly the green, but have caught fish with the clear.
  4. For worming, I sated with the 12lb, and dropped to the 10lb..I use the 15 for a Leader on my swimbait rig.. ;D
  5. Might consider throwin some 6" and bigger swimbaits, 8" would be my choice, but you would possibly need a new rod to handle them.. This would be a big plus, if no one has been throwing big swimbaits..go for the gold..I'm tryin for a 12lb'r..or bigger.
  6. 7' for all of em..
  7. i think you meant Palomar.. Same knot alot of us use..
  8. I saw that. How much is shipping? Does anyone know by any chance? Thanks Depends on what size spool you want..call em, good guys to deal with. I buy 99% of my stuff there.

  10. Maybe he could paint a Pink one just for you... ;D jk.
  11. Another satisfied Shimano customer...
  12. Just messin with ya Smokin
  13. Wrong Other wise its a beauty Only your opinion...
  14. Yep, I use the ultrasoft on all my reels cept my swimbait rig.. 8-)
  15. Actually, the handle is on the Correct side...
  16. I have used both the green mist and the clear..I see no difference when it comes to catching fish..And I have used 4 to 15 lb test.
  17. Hmmm, never noticed that on mine..I threw all the packages away..
  18. I won't even talk about some of the Dumb things I've done...yours is mild by comparision...
  19. Well, I'm the odd one..I use Diawa Samuri braid..have tried others. The thing that sets the samuri apart, is it is Very limp, but strong. There's no wax on this line, and it cast's a mile, well not really, but further than any other line I've tried. The 55lb has the same diameter as 10 lb mono. And a simple palomar knot works great. Cost's a bit more than others, except maybe Blackwater, but well worth it imho.
  20. I fished the H20 talapia in a lake that has NO talapia, and caught fish...get the 4" model..great little swimbait for the $$$ imho.
  21. Like topwater, I use a uni to uni knot, 6 twist's on the mono/fluro, and 8 twists on the braid. No casting problems. I have used up to a 5' leader, and that was on my swimbait rig..Never had a knot fail. with 30lb, I'm guessing your gonna be worming ect..? I'd use a 3-4' leader.
  22. I've always used a palomar, never had any issues with it..For leaders, I use a uni to uni knot..
  23. Heck with it...I'll stick to my Soft swimbaits... ;D
  24. Yes, if the joints and construction relate to the swiming action of the bait.. The number of joints don't nessesarly mean the bait has a good swiming action. I'm also pointing out the shape of the bait, the Nates looks like a trout imho.
