I haven't given the Rooster a try, but that Space Monkey has produced some decent fish for me this year.

This might have been the main reason that I liked it also. It's all we talked about for three days straight.

Both of my brothers have played for a good amount of time now. I've tried to pick it up a few times, but I don't have to drive to really learn. Some of the best memories have come from sitting on the back porch listening to them play.

I'm not a Tiger fan, and never have been much a fan of Phil's for some reason. I'm glad he won, and I really like watching him play. But there is just something about him that doesn't come off well to me when I hear him speak. Now, he might always be very sincere in what he is saying, but sometimes he just sounds like he is telling the reporters what they want to hear. Just my two cents.

Rooster Tail

I said a month or so back that this year was the year of the crankbait for me. It's yet to really begin to happen.

I saw and article in Bassin' Magazine I believe that showed how you could fish a crankbait somewhat "weedless" by bending in one of the back trebles. Has anyone tried this? If so what were your results? Could you tell any difference in hookup ratios?
