I got one of those little guys last Christmas. Played with it for about 2 months solid. Maybe it's time to pull it out and give it a fly.

Nothing really fishing specific except for a rod bag carrier deal and $75 worth of bps gift cards that will go towards a new setup.

A little pricey, but I might give them a shot.

I prefer spinning for all soft plastics.

After looking around and taking some advice, I am going to be purchasing two new setups. 1. 7' Mod Fast Baicasting for cranks/topwater 2. 7' M/F Spinning for soft plastics What line would everyone suggest spooling with these for the different applications that I will be using them for? Thanks

worked for me...haven't shaved in 38 years. This guy is the MAN!

My addiction is fine with rods and reels. Mine is mainly soft plastics. If I see a couple of packs for a good price, I think, "A man would be a fool not to buy those", and so I do. I can normally do good work on a clearance bin.

Let us know how you like that rod. I've really had my eye on one of those.

When wading the creek, I just carry one UL setup. If I go to a pond, I will carry the UL and another baitcasting setup. I had a small tackle bag that is good for ponds, and I will normally just carry a small box and stick in my pocket in the creek.

I was able to make it out for a couple of hours yesterday. Caught two small ones, nothing to write home about.

This has been the same since I was born. Go to my Dad's mother's house on Christmas Eve, celebrating with them. Then going to the 11:00 Christmas Eve Church Service Getting Up at around 6 Am, looking at what "Santa" has brought. Going to my Mom's Mother's house and celebrating with that side of the family.

I knew something special was happening.
