  1. O ok. I was talking about the Eufala in Georgia. I have no idea what to tell you about that lake. Hope it works out for you.
  2. Me and my best friend have been workin on it for the past few weeks. There are 110 questions and so far 104 is as far as we can go. It's like there is no way to get 104 right. I really do beleive the quiz is IMPOSSIBLE because it just cant be finished. It the most frustrating thing I have ever done. ;D If anyone needs help with any questions ask away.
  3. If your talking about the Lake Eufala that is on the Georgia/Alabama line, then someone is pullin your leg. There is no smallmouth in there. You would probably have to go about 125-150 miles north to find smallies. As far as fishing Eufala it sounds like by the time you fish your tourny you will have to fish the famous ledge pattern. Follow spawning flats out until you find a ledge and fish it with a spinnerbait, jig, or dd crankbait. Also, if you can find deep grass, a crankbait or lipless crankbait will work. Hope this helps a little and good luck in the tournament
  4. Like Moloch, I've caught a dog. I was about 10 and me and my friend were fishing catfishing. I was using hotdogs on a treble, and on my back cast, his chocolate lab jumped up and grabbed the hotdog treble. It caught her good in the toungue but she was good as knew when my friends dad got it out. I haven't been catfishing ever since LBH - didn't you catch a deer one time on a spook?
  5. Listen to this man. Cooking is the way to a girls heart. I get an earfull of stories from Russ everytime I go up there to fish. I always leave feeling like a better bass angler and a fricken stud. Nice fish. She's a cutie
  6. Chillax guys. I'm pure catch & release, but if he keeps a few to eat then thats totally fine. In Texas there are so many 4lbers that it definately isn't going to hurt if he takes some. Catt, I dont like freshwater fish but that sure sounds good. Ceph, I dont think Catt was trying to get everyone fired up. I think he was trying to post a recipe for the guys who eat fish if I am seeing this post correctly.
  7. 3/32oz Picasso Shakedown jighead with a watermelon/gold Zoom Trickworm
  8. If I'm not fishing then I will be doing some other sport. I'm the kind of person who cant just do nothing. I play every sport there is and I will make up my own game if the regular ones get boring.
  9. Are you kidding me? Their pitching sucks? Obviously you haven't done your research on this topic... The Sox are 1st in the ML for runs allowed with only 125 in 36 games. The closest to them is the Mets with 134, Also, their starters have a combined e.r.a. of 3.89 and they are currently 4th in the MLB with a team e.r.a. of 3.27 When Lester returns and we get Tavarez out of there they will be even better. Are you ok with picking them for fantasy now?

god all mighty what a toad!! that looks way bigger than 10.37 to me. Congrats catt!!! gotta love the good ol' t-rigged worm
  11. hey 30lb, i dont know anything about the qauntum lite, but i do own a bps prolite finesse and i absolutely adore the reel. lately it's been acting a little weird but i think it just needs to be cleaned. i've owned it now for 2 years. it casts light lures real nice and has a decent drag system. i currently have mine on a 6'6"m bps pro qaulifier.
  12. Great link Glenn. I enjoyed reading it.
  13. I really love the sound of a motor getting up on plane. That loud rouring sound. It's just awesome. My other favorite part is when you first hook a fish and it's a good one, it makes that initial surge from the shock of the hookset and your rod really strains but you have no idea how good it is.
  14. There were two days when we fished almost the entire lake. Seven big batteries only running two motors and the batteries were almost completely dead both days. The swimbait I traded you for works. It ain't got no paint left on it now. ;D Thats awesome. I gotta go out there and throw it. You know that swimbait I traded you for? It sucks....but it makes me laugh EVERY time. I still got an extra ticket to seussical if you want to go. LOL HAHA
  15. Lol. I love how you say ONLY 15 were over 3lbs. That is an incredible day! I wouldn't be dissapointed at all
  16. Man ya'll have been all over the place. Each one of those pictures are far apart from each other. Awesome! Thats what happens when senko gets on Varner. I dont catch any, but after ya'll slay em. Your welcome! J/K J/K Great fish and pics!
  17. 63-65 degrees, although I believe the spawn is based more on moon phases and duration of daylight
  18. Blade, I'm not sure of the worm you are talking about, but myself and the many other handpourers on this forum could probably help you match the worm size, color, and softness. Posting a pic of the bait will help people out alot with identifying it

Regardless of the spring being molded in the head or free swinging, once you screw your bait on and hook it onto the hook, it wont move. If you think about it, the hook locks the worm into place and it would take a force strong enough to stretch the head of the soft plastic for it to move up higher on the hook eye. As far as the plastic impeding your hookset, I dont think the spring does anything. My favorite jighead is the Picasso Shakedown and that has a titanium spring. It has never afftected hooksets. If your missing fish with the Spot Remover, it's either because your setting the hook wrong or the fish is small. hope this helps
  20. Like RW said, most "5lbers" are more near 3lbs. I would say that fish is between 3-3 1/2lbs. Dont you just love golf course ponds!
  21. wow. looks like you had an awesome day. i wish i could catch em on spinnerbaits ;D that 2nd 6lber is a good looking fish. perfect proportion
  22. As far as locating fish, I do the exact opposite of Aint Texan. I like to look shallow. The fish definately bunch up like Aint Texan said, but my preference is to fish a laydown or shallow patch of reeds rather than a deep brushpile or ledges and other deeper cover. I like big jigs and lipless crankbaits for muddy and clear water after rain. Dont count out topwater either, but seeing as your in jersey, I would think it would still be a bit chilly for them. Hope this helps and good luck. You will love that All-Terrain. It's a hard nosed motor
  23. Dang Mike!! I would LOVE to have a smallie day like that. I've only caught 2 smallies, and post's like this make me wanna drive up there and catch em even more. Nice pic btw. ;D Congrats man!
  24. Most likely. LOL. He throws buzzbaits ALL the time....and catches fish with them ALL the time
  25. Correct. Pure reaction strikes
