    Welcome to the community.
  9. I'm with you. Still chuckling.
  10. Keep in mind that we have 26,233 members at the moment I am typing this, though I don't know how many are truly active. What community of more than 25,000 people has no crime, no arguments, and no disrespect? None. And you can bet that every single one of those 25,000 people have had disagreements . . . . some more than others. I don't like it either but it's going to happen now and then with such a large population. If you think about it, it's pretty amazing that Glenn and the Moderators are able to minimize this type of behavior to the level that it is.
  11. Welcome to the community, Woody.

  15. The last time I was on the Gravois Arm was 2005. I did not see any milfoil there at that time, though I didn't check every single cove and pocket.
  16. I've never used one. I'm a Citica and Curado user. Hopefully, someone else has some experience with the Chromica.
  17. I'm not very familiar with W&M's products but I'm interested in hearing information from those who are.
  18. Welcome to BR. I've seen some of your posts already. Thanks for the intro.

  20. Johnny, no disrespect meant, but if you are not familiar with pads, shaft center lines, and some of the other things you are going to hear, you will be better off taking your boat to a shop and let them walk you through the options. Every one on this site(Me included), will have opinions that differ in regards to equipment, measurements, and brand loyalty. Equipment failure will be possible if the heights are off, water pressure drops, etc., so take it somewhere and let someone get started on it that will have the boat in their possession and can put it through a test on the water. Jack Welcome to the forum. Jack Wise words, indeed. You have a decent boat that runs at a decent speed. Don't take a chance on ruining it in your quest for more speed.
  21. Glenn has really pulled a great deal of information together which makes the articles section of this site second to none. And the manner in which he runs the site, plus the evenhanded moderating, minimizes conflict, which is quite a feat considering the size of the membership. Nothing is perfect, but this site is as good as it gets in my opinion.
  22. As one of the members of this forum whose posts command a great deal of trust from me, I find your situation very intriguing, Roger. Are you still trying to work with them, or are you at the end of your proverbial rope?
  23. Yes, indeed. 3/4 oz GMAN jigs with Rage Tail Craw as trailer (difficult to limit oneself to one jig size though) Senko style worm Rage Tail Anaconda 3/8 oz spinnerbait with willowleaf and colorado blades (changing to one colorado depending on conditions) Lucky Craft Pointer 100 DD
  24. Other than Homer Circle at 93 years old, I can't say I know of anyone fishing at such an age. Maybe he is 94 now. I don't know when his birthday occurs.
