  1. Welcome to the BR forum.
  2. Welcome to the community.
  3. If one is fishing a tournament he or she will weigh everything. As a recreational fisherman, if a bass is only 0 - 3 lbs I see no reason to weigh it. It isn't going to be near my personal best. I'll weigh one of the dinky fish once in awhile, but I normally don't have a reason to waste the time.
  4. Me used rock from driveway. Make talk about Shimano fishing rock. Me want to learn.
  5. Paul, he is in Georgia. Ice, as you and I know it, is like Bigfoot in most of Georgia.

    Welcome.
  8. The answer to that depends on your waters. I have three different colored skirts with single colorado blades. As others have said, with time, you will find that none of your lure collections are every complete.

  10. Welcome to BR, Josh.
  11. I'm going to make a comment that requires a disclaimer. Don't do this without a life jacket or if the water is so cold that hypothermia will occur quickly. I fish out of a bassboat most of the time, but on my favorite pond I use a 10 foot jon boat. I stand most of the time while I am fishing in the jon boat. So, yes, you can pitch and flip from a jon boat. I have only been in the water once and that was because of a huge arachnid that decided to make it's presence know by scampering across my foot. See the thread below. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1150119537/0#0 As for beavers I have nothing to add. They have their time and place.
  12. 1. How big was it? 7 lbs 5 oz 2. What Bait did you catch it on? 3/8 oz Booyah Spinnerbait 3. General time of day and weather? (was it noon on a bluebird sky day? After dark on a cloudy night after a storm front?) Around noon with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 80s. 4. What Month of the year? August
  13. Those had to be some football shaped fish. What a wild day! I've had days where I have caught 20 plus fish that were 17 - 18 inches but in my neck of the woods, those fish are only 3 lbs or so. Also, at that size I'm not measuring and weighing too many of them. The best that I can remember was two 6 lb'ers and one over 4 on the same day. I honestly do not think I have ever caught four bass over 4 lbs on the same day, but I could be wrong.
