    Nice fish.
  2. Nice video and beautiful fish. That's some nice-looking water you're fishing as well.
  3. Welcome to the community, James!
  4. Nice hawg! That'll put a smile on your face.
  5. Welcome, hiker! There are prima donnas in just about every large group of people, but you'll find this is a pretty good place to hang.

  7. That's awesome, Jack. My wife and I rented a houseboat for a week a few years back at secluded Lake Stockton in southwest Missouri. We had a blast. That would definitely be a place to spend some time in retirement, though I would still want to keep my bassboat tethered nearby.

Glenn, I'm with you. To the rest of you, I'm a network engineer with the following certs: (Cisco - CCVP, CCNP, CCNA, CICCES) (Microsoft - MCSE,) (Nortel - NCSS) (CompTia - Network+ and A+). I design, configure, and implement enterprise VoIP and data networks for a living. No offense to those of you who are truly knowledgeable about operating systems, but I've generally found that most of the people who have strong opinions about the PC - Mac debate usually have enough knowledge to be dangerous. I usually stay out of the arguments on any subject where people hold intense opinions, because those types of people usually will never give up that opinion even if the facts indicate otherwise. By the way, this ties in quite nicely with my signature below.
  9. Nice fish!
  10. Wow! That's a nice bass. She looks bigger than 6.2 lbs with that gut!
  11. Appearances can be deceiving but these do look nice. I'm looking forward to more information on these. At that price, this could be a nice rod.
  12. I have read other articles about this technique. I look forward to reading Mike's. Keep up the good work, Mike!

    Welcome to the community!
  16. If you cut across a stump-filled area using a trollling motor I think most of the other boaters using the boat lanes will assume you have a spot that you are scoping out and won't stop, unless you have some other means of indicating that you are in trouble.
  17. Congratulations! Nice bass.
  18. That is one huge fish! To Jay Dubya: Thanks for the excellent information. I would definitely be wary and take precautions fishing in croc-infested waters. How big are the aluminum boats you guys use around these crocodiles?
  19. Sounds like you had fun. Nice pictures.
  20. Thanks, Randall. It's good to know that you are mortal like the rest of us.

Mac and Windows fans are always going at it. Mac is great for media but Windows is better for standard workstations in most enterprises in my opinion. If Mac were as ubiquitous as Windows there would be just as many viruses developed for it as well. As for Windows 7, I know a few guys running it in beta that love it and they aren't windows flunkies either. They run Mac, windows, and Linux on different machines.
  22. That looks like a nice boat. The carpet shows no wear at all.
  23. Nice hawgs!
  24. I've never fished for Peacocks but it's on my bucket list. Those are some sweet looking fish with some mean shoulders.
