  1. x2. I have a Carrot Stix and it has performed great for me.
  2. Rebel Pop-R in baby bass color. I perfer the 1/2 oz. size because it literally cast a mile.
  3. x2 I would have tried the 7" after a couple bite offs x3, sounds like the bait was too big. I would have changed to the 7" also. x4. It probably wouldn't hurt to go to a 4" finesse worm in situations like that.

    I hate baseball.
  5. The spools I got were only $6.50 each......a rod and a reel cost a bit more than that. 100 x 6.50=$650.00. OVER TIME you might even need more than 100 spools of line. Last time I looked a excellent rod and a reel cost a bit less than that.
  6. I think I will stick to my BBZ-1 Shads and my Sebile Magic Swimmers.
  7. Come on Big-O you couldn't show us the bait? ;D BTW, those are some great fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's an awesome deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. It's not meant to float. Just hold your rod tip up high and reel fast enough to keep it on top of the water.
  10. Great fish!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you catch many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. To me, that would cost a tad bit of money if I am constiently changing line for different situations. Over time, getting another rod/reel would be cheaper than always changing line for different situations. I know you said you didn't have enough room for another rod/reel but you will be using up a load of money if you are always changing. Search around your boat, you might be able to find enough room for a few rod/reels.
  12. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's one wicked storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I almost forgot, great fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. OK, I am ready for the bashing. There is nothing better than a Quantum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Nothing at all, in fact dropshotting is derived from an old method that dates back into the 50's called a "chicken rig", 2 or 3 hooks with sinker on bottom, people use it every day in saltwater. Ever seen a sabiki rig? 6 hooks tied on main line with sinker on bottom, used to catch bait. x2. The chicken rig and the carolina rig with live bait is all I fish with in saltwater.
  16. For 4" to 6" worms I would use a 3/0 hook. For 7" worms I use a 5/0 hook. For 10" worms I use a 7/0 hook. For thick plastics I may go to a EWG hook.
  17. I would eat it. Looks close enough to a crawfish for me.
  18. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An 11.2 in North Carolina where did you get him at?

I heard Bill Dance say once that a 2 1/2 lb. LM bass could eat a 9 in. shad. I doubt they are to big.
  20. Hey my aunt is in Sevierville this weekend.
  21. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you catch many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it matters that much.
  23. x2. Carrot Stix will probably serve you better in the situation since the Bucco is so very new. You could always wait a little bit though and let some people on this board buy the Bucco and tell you how it performs then make your decision on whether to buy the Bucco or the Carrot Stix.
