I have a couple of these. Never got bit on either but they look really cool in the water.

My current boat came with an extremely old one and when it went out I decided to replace it with another CMC plate. Very pleased with mine so far. Got it cheap too on eBay brand new.

I do both! My factory Procraft cover first then a heavy duty 12mil tarp over that. Nice, dry and clean next time I use her.

17 total between 2 people. 12 of those coming on hollow body frogs early on. The rest flipping plastics. Biggest was only 3.5lb. Not too bad but not quite what I'm after. Going to try offshore on a local lake this weekend.

Bad habit

20 + years of fishing and I'm still patiently waiting on my turn. Not looking forward to it though.

I have 2 both paired with a Lew's super duty wide spool. One with 50lb braid for my topwater swimbaits like the Nez rat and the punkers. The other with 25lb Izorline XXX smoke color for glides and bullshads. Love that rod!

I only wash mine when it gets a bad scum line on it. I always wipe everything down with bass boat saver though. Vacuum it religiously as well.

Mine has a brass fitting and the plug screws in until tight. Pics of yours would probably help us.

I use Zoom trick worms and they last a long time.

Never understand the draw behind these subscription boxes! Way more fun and cost effective to pick your own stuff and order. What I need on any specific body of water can change weekly.

I've learned to deal with that issue fishing here in S FL. They'll follow the boat and even try to get in!

Whatever mostly resembles the bait fish in your waters. Every body of water is different.

Mend it and cheaper knockoffs work perfectly for me.

XH will throw them no problems.

The DX to me runs a little underpowered. I first purchased the heavy and sold it to get the XH. You could throw the Keitechs easily with the heavy. The Hudd will feel like a bit much on it imo. I finally settled on the Dobyns fury 8ft SB rod as my all purpose. Really great for the money.

I use dirty jigs ones and like them a lot.

I don't think 6' of 3lb test is quite enough to throw frogs with bud.?
