Thanks Matt absolutely perfect I checked the Sharelunker program which is bass over 13 pounds caught in Texas and out of 442 bass 166 were caught during winter conditions or pre-spawn. The months were the last week of November through February; I didn't count March since it is considered spawning time in Texas.

Georgia can't go because they didn't win their division or conference and while this is not a BCS requirement the human polls which are 2/3 of the vote will hold it against them. Kansas can't go because they didn't win their conference and as of right now they have not beat a ranked team. USC can't go because as of right now the have only played 2 ranked team & lost to one of them plus the lose to an unranked team Stanford. LSC will go because the won their division & conference plus their 2 loses came after 6 overtimes meaning they never lost in regulation play. Hawaii will not get any respect from the computer polls or human polls

According to the Times Picayune Posted by Jim Varney and Jim Kleinpeter, Staff writers December 01, 2007 11:23AM ATLANTA - LSU football coach Les Miles is staying with the Tigers and not going to his alma mater, Michigan, LSU Athletic Director Skip Bertman said Saturday. The school has scheduled a press conference for 12:50 central, hours before LSU kicks off in the Southeastern Conference championship game, to announce the new deal, according to people involved in the matter, and Miles has reportedly informed the team of his decision. "We don't have a signed contract but we have an agreement," Bertman said. "It will be finalized Monday or Tuesday. "The Chancellor (Sean O'Keefe) has done a good job with this. He's had the lead and done a bulk of the work. He and I and member of the Board of Supervisors have been working with Les' agent, George Bass. I think Les is happy." Bertman said the agreement was hammered out Friday. The sudden press conference and the news came after ESPN reported this morning that Miles would take the open coaching job at Michigan, his alma mater. Speculation has been rampant about Miles future for weeks, but he has never tipped his hand on whether he was leaning toward Baton Rouge or Ann Arbor.

I've seen a few bears in the wild so what catches my minds eye first are the hind legs, although a bear can walk up right its legs are still designed for walking on all four. These hind legs are long and slim like a human.

There are some points at the end of the Camp Casoma Rd area that I like, even more so if the creek channel is close; I also like the area to the west where the creek enters the lake. I've looked at satellite imagery and not topographical so a little more study would be required.

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying here, temperature has a lot to do with the spawn but it is not the only guiding light. Gestation period, water temperature, water depth, water clarity and moon phase all have to be factored in. I believe gestation period triggers the pre-spawn urge for bass to start moving out of winter habitat and into creek coves. In my personal option if you want to catch that bass of a lifetime forget bedding bass and target pre-spawn fish. With bedding bass you are dealing with a bass that is not readily and actively feeding, where as with pre-spawn bass they are feeding on every thing. I would be willing to bet 90% of the anglers here don't have the patience required to fish bedding bass. Give me pre-spawn bass anytime
