Done just about all of them ;D Once I drove 45 minutes to the launch & started putting every thing into the boat only to realize I left my rods at home.
  4. Weather, barometric pressure, water temperature, wind, moon phase, time of the year ect all control a bass's mood; I do pay attention to them but I don't let any one of them or all of them control me.
  5. Yea I did, many an up start band played Gilley's during the 70s & 80s from Country to Southern Rock. Gilley's Club was the sensation of an era: the "world's largest honky-tonk.", until burned to the ground in 1989.

I use a lot of Gene Larew soft plastics which most tackle stores don't carry so I order factory direct. When ordering 100 they don't count them but instead they weigh them so I'll get 120 to 130.
  7. It's depends on the time of year, during the summer I wear Magellan sportswear and don't worry about rain. Now during the winter that's another story, anything Gore Tex

  14. That's why I question the validity of the above chart and would like to see the chemical data that supports this. RemOil is designed for corrosion protection, corrosion caused by burnt gun powder which more corrosive than anything ever cause by fishing. Its viscosity is low because heavy oil on a gun will only attract dirt, grit, grim, and gun powder residue. I personally believe their statistics are backward on this oil because it is designed for high corrosion resistance and low viscosity.
  15. Y'ALL! Need to quit this kind of talk so early in the morning! I gotta go to work Well maybe my stomach is a little upset Ouch! My back hurts Focus son focus, you gotta to work
  16. Yea my brother's 1996 Stratos has the same problem; it's caused by hitting the bow roll to hard. We removed the eye, added 2 large washers (1 on the inside & 1 on the outside), and reinstalled. I did a little modification to the outside washer so it would contour to the hull better.
  17. How y'all are? There are some excellent bank fisherman here but one thing you may want to do is tell us where you are located?
  18. What building codes? Try working in the Aerospace industry and learning all the militaries SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), MilSpecs (Military Specifications), Mil- Standards, Quality Assurance, SQ&TP (Supplier Quality & Technical Processes and Engineering Design Organization(s), or Metallurgy. 21. Rem Oil The most versatile gun oil you can buy. It cleans dirt and grime from exposed metal surfaces, displaces non-visible moisture from metal pores, and protects internal and external metal parts from rust and corrosion. Its exclusive Teflon® formula provides a tough, thin, long-lasting lubricating film that keeps actions working smoothly by reducing metal-to-metal wear. Remington Arms Company, Inc
  22. I agree with Sam it's more of a time frame thing than numbers game On Toledo Bend I'll throw a Spinner Bait, Trap, or Buzz Bait but if I aint bit within 30 minutes I put that rod back in the rod box. I firmly believe Toledo Bend is a plastics lake and if you want to catch bass consistently feed em plastic.
