hellbender
It's a killer bait when trolled for stripers; it has accounted for many largemouth while trolling.

So what type of angler are you?
LURE: SPECIALIST - With every lure but crank baits but my personal preference is plastics/jigs WATER: SPECIALIST - If it's wet I can catch fish in it; a master at reading structure at any depth. ANGLER: SPECIALIST - I fish power baits with finesse using simple techniques to perfection to consistently catch. My back ground came from fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico where reading structure is a must as well an ability to fish the entire water column.

Best approach?..scenario included
Simple find structure, find cover on structure, and pick it apart with plastics and jigs

Success Formula -- a Subject of Debate
That is a lot of interesting information without a lot of wisdom #1: location with out a doubt is the number one key under which depth falls #2: weather; no explanation required #3: time of the day, ever sit on a piece of structure for a couple hours catching nothing then in the next fifteen minutes load the boat and then nothing again. Items 2 through 7 are ever changing as to which order and percentage they will fall

Short strikes and too much hook!!!
That is extremely interesting I think as long as the size of the hook doesn't impede the action of the lure then go with it. I use a 3/0 hook on 6 or smaller plastic, 4/0 on plastic 7 to 8, and 5/0 on 10 plastic

What was your best fishing deal?
Back in the early 70s I attended a seminar by Elwood L. " Buck" Perry and bought his home study course; it's still paying off today.

Being front ended?
A quick but firm slap behind the back of the head works quite well ;D Avid, GMAN, and JT got it right

Cleaning bait scent from fiberglass etc?
Greased Lighting Orange Blast is a super strength auto/degreaser found at Wal/Mart in the automotive dept. It can be used on any surface and will remove almost any substance known to man Spray it on let it soak wash it off, for extra stubborn substances you may need to brush it or use a scotch brite pad.

Are you scared......
The only time there is reason for concern is if I fishing in front of you I don't worry about the other guy; I worry about me Besides it's all about being at the right place, at the right time, with the right bait 8-)

replacing bunks,does size matter?
Harshman It would be a waste of time if one were not to use galvanized hardware

Why do people booze it up and drive???
Stupidity, Selfishness, Pride Shall I continue?

numbers or size - what takes more skill?
I think it has a lot to do with the body of water you are fishing; some lakes are know for size, some lakes are know for numbers, a few are know for both. Catching numbers is not luck, but neither is catching hawgs 8-) If you aint fishing where they are at, you aint catching either

Proud of my son.

Berkley Power Baits
I received some new multi-layered poured worms; the body is extra soft and flexible for finesse action. Check em out, they look awesome for a shaky head, spot remover, or wacky presentation PS: I'm not advertising for Academy just keeping y'all informed on new tackle http://www.berkley-fishing.com/prod.php?k=57241&sk=57206&u=MPFHP6#zoom-/dimg/PURMPFHP6-CBU.jpg

Shimano Crucial
That's correct; I personally attached the sale stickers The reason I suggested y'all check your local Academy is I'm not sure if this is just an in house sale or a national sale since it does not appear in Academy's sales paper.

replacing bunks,does size matter?
All Wolmanized® lumber is chemically treated with CCA-C, which is composed of the following: Hexavalent Chromium 47.5% Copper 18.5% Arsenic 34.0% Neither chemical will affect carpet or carpet glue; if a problem occurred it was not due to the Wolmanized® lumber.

Bass eating crawdads... Help??
The word jig head is an inappropriate name when thinking about a Jig-n-Craw; it is actually the jig tail. The claws of the Craw Worm are actually the head of the lure since all crawfish travel backwards.
-
replacing bunks,does size matter?
Use Wolmanized® lumber (green colored) then there is no need for additional treating
