Water? I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning. A glass of milk with breakfast. A small glass of milk with lunch. A glass of milk or sweet tea with supper. Not alot else, maybe 8 ozs of water or Gatorade. Never drank a lot even when working construction. If I drank what y'all do I would drown. And yes my pee is clear ?

Green Pumpkin is by far my least productive color. Okeechobee Craw, green pumpkin/blue is highly productive. I do quite well with reds,, Red Shad, Redbug, Plum Apple, Crabapple

The only reason i referred that rod, it was the first rod I ever seen with a split seat.

My first Crucial was purchased more by accident than on purpose! I was browsing the aisles at our local K-Mart back when they had a decent tackle section. I noticed a little sales girl grab 4-5 rods & start marking them down. The last rod was a 5' 6" medium heavy fast Shimano Crucial & marked it $24.99! I picked it up walked to the register & paid for it! Probably the most sensitive rod I've ever owned & at the time I was a Loomis fan boy.

Long, skinny, tapered on one end! I don't care as long as it doesn't have EVA grips. I do like a "split" reel seat like this.

A friend of my dad's who was a world renowned fly fisherman taught me to let the rod do the casting, it's better at it than you. For casting overhead he rolled up a magazine placed it under my arm pit & said now cast without letting the magazine fall.

Ok! I should clarify, deep water fishing down here means I'm offshore. Unless it's pre-spawn I'm seldom within casting distance of a bank. This time of year I can be found a mile+ offshore. I do fish "shallow" but it's out here.

It is common knowledge that there is a topwater bite early in shallow water. What is not common knowledge is there's an early morning bite in deep water. I start with Texas Rigs & Jig-n-Craws

None! I eat while running from one spot to another. One hand on the steering wheel, boudin in the other, Gatorade between my legs.
