Hey RW, read the rest of the thread.

Where's Dozer..?
I don't believe he posts here anymore. There was a thread a while back where things got a little heated and whatnot. I believe he, or one of the admin, removed all of his posts as well. He still updates his Facebook page quite frequently though.

Baitcasting Rod 6'0 too short?
A lot of it also depends on how tall of a person you are. Longer rods are generally more comfortable in taller peoples hands. The opposite holds true with shorter rods. It all depends on what you're comfortable with. I'm 6'2" and I really like using a 7'6" rod. I've got some that are shorter. Most of them are around 7' though. I've got one 6' in my garage that I don't use anymore because I just don't like a short rod.

Shimano Crucial CRC-X610MH Review
Those green Curado's look fantastic with the green finish on the Crucials.

Shimano Crucial CRC-X610MH Review
Those 50E's have been staring me in the face. I've got one 200 and I love it. Debating on if I want to get rid of my PQ's and move them up to Citicas or just go straight to the Curados.

Shimano Crucial CRC-X610MH Review
I think you'll be happy with them. Good line of rods. You may want to check out the Falcon Bucoo as well. The only reason I didn't buy one is because it didn't feel as comfortable in my hands. The same went for the Avid. Just do some shopping around when you're there and find something you like. That being said, I wouldn't change what I bought for either of those now. Was worth the money.

Shimano Crucial CRC-X610MH Review
I am much happier with them. The Carbonlite was a nice rod, don't get me wrong. The Crucials definitely are a better rod though. They are a little more sensitive. I'm not positive on the weight, but my 6'10" crucial is roughly the same weight as the 6'9" Carbonlite. I do miss the eva foam though. The Crucial also feels like it's much more of a solid rod. I felt like I would break the Carbonlite if I really set hard into it. For 100 bucks though, they're a pretty good rod.

jon boat size for lakes?
That would all depend on how big the lake is, how active is the boat traffic, and in what part of the lake you're in. I've taken my 12' on some fairly large lakes, but those don't see very much boat activity. I sure wouldn't want to take it out and run around the middle of Okeechobee with it.

Leaders without swivels on baitcaster with braid?
If you tie the knot correctly, it will be extremely small. You'll have no issue reeling it through the guides. You may feel a slight tick on the rod, but thats about it.

Shimano Crucial CRC-X610MH Review
I'd go out and buy a bunch more if I found them at 59 bucks. Instantly.

Problem finding articles on drop shotting
As cliche' as it is to say, try the search tool. You'll find just gobs of great information on the site. Drop shotting has been brought up a bunch recently. There should be some good threads fairly close to the top of the results.

it's almost FOOTBALL time...
I don't care if it's pre season/fake football. The Dolphins won! Whoot!

larger lures?
I've caught a bunch of dinks on 16 inch worms. Bass will eat whatever the heck they think they can fit into their mouth. Sometimes it borders on sheer stupidity.

New skeet products!
That can't really stop him from using Revo's, he just cant promote them. Skeet can use what ever gear he wants. Pro's throw baits they aren't sponsored by all the time in touries, but for TV they will most likely always use their sponsors product. For all we know he could have a North Fork Composites blank just wrapped to look like a W&M Tessera. Can't they just have him sign something that says he won't use other reels than the wm? Sure they can. He'd be an idiot to do it though. Would you use an inferior product if theres a lot of money on the line? He could be using them, or he could be using a blank wrapped in his yellow scheme like BASSClary said.

New skeet products!
Isn't Abu a reel company trying to make rods? They're primarily known for making reels, but theres a ton of people using the Abu rods now. Just sayin...

Anyone have any opinions on these rods.
trig = t rig = Texas rig

Curado 50
Guess I should clarify, I have a 200e7, not a 50E. I've used mine for weightless rigs before and had no problems with it. The 50E is supposed to excel at light weight baits and finesse presentations though.

Curado 50
Good reels. I've got one and love it. If you don't plan on throwing lighter baits, get a Citica. You'll probably like it.

Texas rig it. Fish it any way you would any other soft plastic.

Marten's dead fish
His livewell stopped working from what I remember. I don't think he could get the water circulating or anything. Really stunk for him.

What are some good frog rods under $200
Thats the model I'm looking towards getting myself. If BPS carried them in stock, I'd own one already. I use the CRC-X76MH.
