what are your favorite 2 colors for square billed cranks?
x2 One of my favorite times to use a squarebill is when the gills start to bed on my lake here. Just start bouncing them around and then pull the crank off the banks into the deeper water. Get ready to hold on.

New boat for my Flotilla
So thats the Gheenoe you were telling me about on the phone. Looks good, Robert. Ultimate skinny water boat right there.

GoPro
For what you pay for, the Playsport has great video quality. It aint the best, but it most certainly aint the worst.

Another question for car guy's
Works the same way in both my Magnum and my Charger. Pulling fuse 11 also does the same thing. I forgot the exact terminology for it though. On the newer Dodge vehicles, you can also tell what codes are popping up by doing a key cycle a few times. Can't remember the sequence off the top of my head. I believe it's off turn to acc, then repeat twice more ending in acc mode. The codes will pop up on the dash panel.

What have you purchased recently????? 2010
Dobyns 733 that I really didn't need. Waiting for it to arrive in the next couple of days. Thank God for no ice outs here in sunny south Florida.

Gotta be one of the best posts I've seen here for a while. Well played, sir.

Another question for car guy's
That was the first thing that popped into my mind. Both of my newer cars will do the same thing to protect the engine and transmission.

GoPro
Buy one you won't regret it. If not that just buy a flip video Already on my list of stuff to buy this year. I've played with one underwater a few times. Great little units. I wish these were out when I bought my Playsport. Would have spent the extra few bucks on the GoPro.

The Keurig
I've got one and love it. That being said, it doesn't replace my normal morning pot of coffee. It's great for when I want a single cup or when I want something different. Also great for making hot chocolate for my daughters.

Bait Monkey Attack
Nice haul, Robert. Let me know how you like that 832. I've been really curious about it, but the reviews are mixed from what I've seen.

Removing plastic on cork of new rod handles
Annnnd he hit's it deep! It's going out into left field where it drops in! Notice the part where he said the first day he tried it he won an Elite Series event on SML? Call me crazy, but Carrington aint fishing the Elites, Bassclary.

This is why I dont eat taco bell.
x2 Taco Bell is about as Mexican as me. Stuff tastes horrible as well. I'd rather make my own food or find a different place to eat.

Just another tool in the box.

Removing plastic on cork of new rod handles
How? Re-read everything he typed. Think about it for a moment, then re-post your reply.

Oil to gas ratio?
I've got an older 275 Evinrude V8. 50 to 1 for me. Like Chris mentioned, I believe it all depends on the size and make of the engine.

best flick shake stuff?
I personally like the Jackall heads the most. I've got several Tru-tungsten flick shake heads in my box also. They aren't bad, just not fantastic. The Buckeyes are pretty good as well. As far as Powerman's suggestion about the shrink wrap, I do it on pretty much anything that I'm going to be wacky rigging. It's a great method to really prolong the life of any plastic.

How many rods?
I'll generally take four or five rods out of the bunch I have. 1 Frog/Flippin 1 Crank 1 Bottom Contact 1 Pitchin/Bottom Contact 1 Spinning If I know that I'm going to be concentrating on a specific technique, I'll adjust the numbers and the types of rods I'm bringing.

I don't think it could have been put any better than that....

Good Drop Shot Rod
Shimano Crucial CRCD70M M Power Fast Action 6-12 size line or 5-30 braid 1/8 to 3/8 lure weight I can't recall off the top of my head, but they're in the $150 dollar range. The shorter 6'6" model is around $130. Great rods. Fantastic tip on both of them. Tackletour review of the 6'6" version of the same rod. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewshimanocrucial.html No differences between the two rods other than the length. I just happen to like the longer rod a bit more.

jim duckworths soft plastic tip
Yup, works fantastic. The only problem I've ever run into is having a toothpick small enough to fit through some of my hook eyes. It seems like I always have these super jumbo sized ones around here.
