  1. Great fish right there, Snook. WTG
  2. Now, if you're 41, how old is this cougar "friend?" I thought cougars liked the younger guys. ;D
  3. Just got home from the Orange Bowl. Man I'm glad I left after halftime. They're getting smashed in the face right now. Ouch.
  4. Expensive Blu-Ray Player Crappy online service Limited Selection of Cool Games I'll go with the somewhat weaker graphics and great online play with the 360.
  5. Remind me again why you were watching Dallas?
  6. Could be very handy for bed fishing on very wary fish. Drop a marker and back off the bed, then line up and make longer casts across the beds.
  7. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2705288 "I guess I have to say it," Saban said. "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."
  8. Palomar on a Duo-lock snap. Never had a problem.
  9. Personally, I'd love to learn how to locate fish a little better. What I'd really like to do in the coming year is catch a fish in the teens. Anything 13+ would work. I'm not sure how realistic that is, but I'm d**n sure going to try.
  10. If I can find it, I'll send you a great video on how to easily mount a tripod to the back deck. Only costs a couple of bucks plus the tripod.
  11. There is no such thing as overkill when it comes to safety. Especially when you're strapping something down in the back of a truck. I'd hate it if my boat fell out somehow. Just imagine if it fell out and another car behind you smashed into it. You could seriously hurt somebody like that. Better to strap it down a bunch and not have to worry about it. It only takes a few minutes and it can save you from having a bunch of problems. Mayhem happens.
  12. For lighter weight c-rigging, I'll use my normal worm and jig rod. If I'm going up in weight though, I'll swap out to a rod thats a bit longer and has a little more power.
  13. I thought you said you were going to be picking up an NRX next. I've gotta come raid your rod locker one day.
  14. I hate agreeing with this. Man are they ever bad.
  15. I may have misread your first post. When I re-read it I it sounded like you've got no problem making the pitch, it's your rod position afterwards. You want your rod up at the end of a pitch so you can follow the lure down with the rod tip. That will help it have a straight fall when it hits the water. If you need to hand strip line out because of deeper water, have at it.
  16. Like everybody else mentioned, sounds to me like you've got your spool tension set a bit too high.
  17. That kid is scary good. Fast and excessively strong for somebody his size. If he stays out of trouble and doesn't get hurt, he's going to have a long career in football.
  18. Hard to beat a rage craw or baby craw.
  19. As long as you secure it properly and use a red flag, towel, shirt, or something red, a cop shouldn't give you any problems. My Jon is a little on the heavier side with the wooden flooring, front deck to mount a TM and storage. It's still manageable for one person to load and unload in the truck.
  20. Man, don't you hate it when you accidentally delete a post instead of modify it.... And I agree with you, they're probably not the same quality.
  21. Spro That being said, there are other alternatives. Like mentioned, Scumfrog makes a pretty good frog that is roughly half the price
  22. A drunken alcohol stealing monkey covered in crabs? The ultimate revenge. I think I may have left the bar with her one night many, many years ago... :-X Well, you are from Jersey. Home of the infamous "Snooki." It's a Jersery thing..... ;D
  23. I just didn't like the small bulge behind the reel seat. Other than that, liked the rods. Having used both, I've gotta agree about the sensitivity. Certainly not enough of a difference either way for me to notice.
