  1. No, not the hot pocket! Beware the molten lava that runs out of them if you don't let it cool for a while before eating. That stuff inside a hot pocket is just insane hot...
  2. I'm sorry if I believe being responsible for your actions is wrong. Short of somebody having a loaded gun pointed at your head, nothing forces you to get ridonkulously drunk. Isn't it easier to tell somebody it's ok, it's not your fault. Blame the evil stuff in the bottle. It's not like you picked it up to drink it or anything.... That'll be my last response to you on this though. It's borderline silly to keep going at this point.
  3. I'm not sure I'm willing to buy one. I'd love to use one for a day just to have a look around my lake and see what it looks like. I've tried diving in it. Once you get off the edge of the bank, it's like looking into a bottomless pit.
  4. Btw, can I blame football for my pulling out what little hair I have on a weekly basis? Stupid Dolphins......
  5. Unfortunately, thats the best point made in this thread.
  6. I'm glad you know my personal history. Oh wait, you don't. I've had a very close friend die in a DUI from some dude that was beyond drunk. My cousin launched himself through his windshield driving while drunk. My brother almost died in a hospital from drinking excessively. While I was on active duty I saw several people get severely hurt in situations where alcohol is involved. A bottle of liquid can't hurt you. You choosing to drink excessively can. You can die as a result from drinking too much water. Does that mean water is bad and I should hate to think that it exists? A gun cannot hurt somebody. Nor can a bullet. People can hurt people with guns though. Does that mean the inanimate gun is bad? Or is it the jackass that shoots somebody? I can probably go on and on with other similar examples. If you don't like booze, thats fine. I can't blame you. But to blame the drink instead of blaming the person abusing the drink is a bit silly. So all thru that your still fine with booze :-? You really believe the outcome of these tragic things would still be the same if they were sober? Obviously things would be different is they were sober. It's idiotic to think otherwise. I blame them for getting excessively drunk. Especially my brother. I flat out told him after he was better that he was a moron for drinking that much. He knows his limits and he blew right by them. You are responsible for YOUR actions. Good or bad.
  7. I'll stand by it still being me so used to braid. After using it only for...I guess the entire year, that would make sense. There may well have been slack as well, it's been fairly windy here lately, so I'm sure that the boat getting blown around a bit more than I'd like has left a little slack in my line. Out of curiosity, do you guys like using Yo-zuri for jigs as well? Haven't had a chance to really test that out yet.
  8. I don't think anybody actually said alcohol was harmless. Most people here are intelligent enough to know that if you abuse it, you're in for a world of trouble. The key word is abuse. If you abuse ANYTHING, you may find yourself in a very bad situation.
  9. They'll get active again. Florida bass are notorious for shutting down when a cold front arrives. After a day or two of stable weather, they'll be biting again. As far as techniques go, I don't really change up what I do. A lot of the times is just a matter of changing location. Sometimes the bass will go deeper if they have it available. In other lakes they'll pull in tighter to cover.

  11. Way to generalize most people on the planet, FishingBuds. I didn't know that my having a beer or any other kind of drink on the rare occasion that I do now makes me a coward. If somebody goes out, gets drunk, and kills themself or somebody else, it's not the boozes fault. It's their fault for over consumption. You have to know your limits and when you should stop. Alcohol and drugs don't make people do stupid things. Stupid people that over consume the product do stupid things (No, I don't condone drug use).
  12. You should hear from some of the people that I regularly play with. Two of them are Gamestop managers and say that on a daily basis people are coming in to sell the game back to the store.
  13. Okeechobee. There are plenty of places around the lake with lodging and boat rentals. Rolands instantly comes to mind. There are several others as well. After you're done up there for a few days, drive south an hour or so and find a guide for Peacocks. Problem solved.

  16. Should be a good improvement. Mercer likes to put on a good show. He did a great job at the Texas Bass Classic.
  17. Thats what my underwear say.....
  18. You can also tell with the in game counters. They show roughly how many players are playing online at any given time. Last night, Black Ops had 250k players give or take a few. MW had well over 400k people playing.
  19. Fourbizz, what you said about the spawns is 100% correct. I cannot stand it when you work your way around the other team, pick off a couple of guys, then they spawn right behind your back. What the heck is the point of moving around if thats going to happen.
  20. Braid. Didn't realize you were looking for specifics. 20lb Power Pro. Never had an issue with it.
  21. Got it on my spinning reels. Love it.
  22. Normally I've got braid on all but my cranking rod. Right now I've been experimenting a bit with Yo-Zuri Hybrid on a pair of rods. I've been a big fan of braid with a leader of some type for most lures.
  23. Even if you had to buy a new spool, it's worth it to try it out just based on the price.
