Went out tonight throwing a spook. What fun. No issues with the Hybrid on that. I'm still not sold on using it as line for my t-rig/worm rod. I've caught a few fish using a t-rigged worm and never even felt the strike. Just had some added tension. Now that could be because the way the fish were taking the bait, etc etc. I'm itching to put the braid back on, but I'm still going to give Hybrid a fair chance.

I haven't seen the cookie yet. Thats a good one. lol Yes, Black Ops sold a ton of copies. A lot of them have already been returned. There are more people playing MW and MW2 than black ops right now. Which is pretty sad seeing how the game is almost a month old. If Treyarch comes out and fixes the bug issues I'll be pretty happy with it. Some of the weapons that were put in the game are pretty stupid though. The game is set in the Vietnam era. There are weapons in the game made in the 80's. One of them was a prototype weapon that had about 15 made before it got scraped. There are some really bad pieces where you can see that the designers got a bit lazy with. Most of it is just aesthetic stuff that I can live with. The random unexplainable lag though, no thanks. The servers may need some work somewhere. If you're going to make a period specific game, don't just make the maps period specific.

Call me crazy, but that don't look fun. I wouldn't want to spend 30 grand or however much a Triton is, just to deal with that problem without adding a jackplate, different prop, etc etc to fix it. If I buy a boat, I kind of want it to work out of the box.

Surprisingly I haven't had a problem getting into a lobby. I know other people are though. My team will spank some people and they'll back out and end up back in about 15 times before they give up. The CoD series may well be dead now. The last two games have been pretty lackluster. All that was needed was to take the CoD4 engine, keep the same stuff. Just reskin it and make some new maps and you would have had a great game. The problems we're having right now are a direct effect from not having a public beta. CoD4 had a public beta, the major bugs were fixed, the game was great.

I'm back to playing COD 4 right now. I've given up on Black Ops. The only reason I haven't exchanged it yet is because I still have some faint hope that it'll get fixed. I'll just patiently wait for BFBC2 Vietnam to come out on the 21st. They just did a major update to the game that fixed a lot of problems along with adding a few maps. Kudos to EA for getting it right.

Oh goody. My TW shipment got here. Tons of Roboworms and drop shot weights. Shame it got here a bit too late to get out fishing today. I love getting in new goodies. Bought some Larew Salt Craws to try out this time around. I've been catching loads of fish on a jig lately using trailers with smaller claws as opposed to the Rage Craws. Kind of surprised that they don't have a scent added. Just salt. Time for me to go out in the garage and get some tackle ready!

It's kind of like contrast ratios in HDTV's. Each manufacturer rates them different based on they're own specifications. The only way to tell is to go into a store and have a look yourself. The same holds true for a fishing rod. Find a friend or a store that has one and play with it for a while.

One of my good friends told me about it. He was at the stadium when they played it. He says that he almost fell out of his seat laughing. Personally I think it's friggin hilarious. What a great pair of songs to play. Dude shouldn't have lost his job over that.

I've never had a single problem with my Sahara. Been a fun reel to use. Clean it once in a while and make sure it's lubed. No problems.
