Raul and Bronzeye have a lot of JDM Reels

I was using a Bronzeeye popper last night and I had to squeeze the thing in between every cast. I will have to give those others a shot as well. Are they easier at walking the dog ? Did you have to trim the legs?

I have the core 51mg7 and love it. If I was you I would PM Steezy as he has both and he could give you a better comparison. Dan

Thanks for the reply raul. I took your advice and bought both (Core 51mg and the Alphas R-edition) ;D I would do the IMX but I just hate the way they look. the only other way around it is to get a custom made with that blank I guess.

Hey thanks for the info! Is the 21 carrot gold rod more of a yellow / gold color like the picture or is it a neon orange like the regular carrot stixs?

Hey everyone!! I just bought a New Daiwa Alphas R-edition last night and now I need a rod to go with it. I am looking for something Med Lt with a Fast -Xfast tip Split grip and would prefer a skeleton style reel seat and no foregrip but am still open to changes. I recently just got the new Core 51mg with a Cumara 6'8" Med/Fast which I love but wanted something in the ML range for the Alphas. Yeah those are the boca orange seals in the video. I believe they were sent to him dry and he cleaned them in acetone and then used a single drop of hot sauce. I have a set sitting on my desk to put in my curado today if I get a chance.

I think thats their Double Header color. I cant wait to try it! It's going to take a lot to take off my Space Monkey from my rod ;D

Yeah I just keep a steady reel and rod tip up and those legs give some nice action Dan

I had a chance to use a carrot stix over the weekend while fishing with another member from here and it felt really nice the only thing I was not crazy about was the way the grip felt. I am glad they at least acknowledged there was an issue and fixed it (hopefully).
