When you say punctured, do you mean with an arrow or knife type punctured? Or do you mean punctured through the lip with a hook. I see it all of the time and have seen people do it in saltwater. They just leave them on the bank to die, no knives or screwdrivers.

When I REMEMBER to use scents, I use Kick n Bass(anise Shad) and Yum (crawfish). Do they cause more strikes?????? I honestley think that it will cause a fish to hold on longer. And I believe if a fish gets a taste and gets a short strike it will make it hit again rather than go away.

Just because a bass is 9" long does not mean it won't hit a 10" worm. Trust me. I fish 12" worms and catch dinks all of the time.

I NEVER pull all of the line off when I respool. When you spend good money on line and only get 330 yds I try to put it on as many reels as possible.

Punch them through grass with a parasite weight or pegged weight,carolina rig,tx rig it does not matter. They will catch fish. period.

I personally use a bic lighter, My first ones came out sloppy. After you learn to melt evenly and smoothly they look almost stock from a company. Other people use mend it and im sure it works.
