  1. on my way to the lake i store mine in my suv and put them in the boat when i get there. mine do the same thing as yours. i fish with 12 and drive an explorer. imagine that ;D. i have never had a problem with it, and have been doing it a long time. at home mine stay in the house ,so i dont know about it if you keep them in there all of the time.

Usually when i throw a lizard its on a carolina rig, zoom mags or big bite baits kriet tail. strike king iguana. my new favorite is the biffle o lizard with foam inseted on a carolina rig. 8"+ on all of my lizards.
  3. can anyone give info on soldier rods, hendrix rods, esox rods, or american eagle rods?
  4. the thing is you should buy the one that feels best to you. if you listen to everyone on here you will end up getting a shimano. if you havent noticed a majority of the people here love shimano. notice the shimano products support section. i personally love the revo line of reels. maybe you should get an unbias opinion. maybe read reviews on bass pro or cabelas and compare from there.
  5. got 2 tips. for early morn and late evening use a topwater such as a baby torpedo. easy to fish and works awsome. 2 is a spinner bait. my favs are blk/white and white/chrt. both with trailers. fish them slow ticking the top of grass or faster just below the surface making a wake or bulge. good luck.
  6. IKE, alton jones, jeff kriet
  7. BPS EXTREME EXTENDABLE HANDLE. its not as cheesy as you would think.$70 on sale . i got mine andd instantley fell in love. or you could go to rodsbyairrus.com or hendrixrods.com
  8. I bought 2 huddleston weedless 6". and im looking on the bottom of them, and notice there are tiny holes in them. the one is under the bottom jaw, the second is under the pec fins and the other is by the back fins. not the tail fin. what are these holes for? are they there for hooks to be attached? or are they there for molding process?2 of the holes go into the lead inside the baits like a space to add trebles. any info would be great. :-?
  9. Im a soft plastics junkie. i have more things in more colors than i will ever use.
  10. I use a all 7' med all star classic with a daiwa megaforce with 12lb suffix seige camo.
  11. I know there have been test done by some guy in a lab. but what really is the best or do any of them work at all? is it psychological or is there really something to scents. also WHO does these tests, and where can i find the truth about them?
  12. my buddy had to bring 3 back because of grinding gear sounds and other various problems. i love the way they look and was going to buy one. he convinced me otherwise. so i bought a daiwa exelor instead and love it.
  13. falcon, american rodsmiths, all star, h&h, airrus
  14. Look at airrus copperheads or the co matrix. also H&H makes a good rod. I looked at the 7'6 mh mojo at gndr mtn and it was too heavy and waaaaay of balance. if it had a longer handle and maybe a weighting system i would have bought it. i love the med mojo though. awsome. i dont like quantam anything. but definatly look at airrus and H&H. and no its not the same company that makes the spinnerbaits(h&h).i bought an H&H and i love it.
  15. at this time i have a lowrance x135 on my console, and want to get a bow mounted fish finder. if i buy a humminbird or eagle will the transducers mess each other up? also if i buy another x135 or x125 will those interfere with each other?
  16. try a tx rigged worm. or a topwater such as a torpedo. slow retrieve then pause or do a twitch retrieve.
  17. has anyone used these? my buddy swears by them.
  18. suffix seige camo thats what i use. its about 4 or 5 different colors. i love it.
  19. oh, and the c3 4600 is $68 at academy and gndr mtn
  20. i have 3 c3 4600 and 3 c4 4600. they are all awsome. i like the more narrow spool for freshwater. but i also have 6 others for saltwater. none of them are 4600 they are mostly 5500 or whatever. but the ol round garcias are killer. my dad has a couple of records and he loves them. i would go for the one with the narrow spool. i dont know why, it may not make a differnce but it does to me. but i dont like filling those big spools on the 5500's with a low gear ratio it takes forever.
