  2. i just ordered 2 rods from one in san fran, and the site said we ship within 24 hours. when the order was placed they gave me a confimation# but failed to mention that the rods were going to need to be ordered from daiwa then once they recieve them they will ship them to me. it may seem stupid but things like that bother me. here i was expecting my new rods this week and nope i have to wait longer. i hate to wait.
  3. It good to heat that, Kinami baits basically told me oh well. i bought a rattler from them(lipless crank) paint started peeling around where the gills would be after about 5 casts. after the paint peeled it still caught fish though.
  4. Do you have an academy nearby? they make a frog that LOOKS exactley like a spro bronzeye frog. it cost about 4 bucks. i dont know the performance but they look great. its an h2o express frog. very pretty. but pretty=fish doesnt always apply.
  5. Topwaters,x raps,10" worms,pegged creatures
  6. does anyone use this technique? a drop shot but with a pegged creature or beaver style bait on bottom instead of a sinker. basically 2 baits at the same time. does this work? why wouldnt it work?any info? thanks in advance
  7. Why you chose a daiwa doesnt matter, im glad you did. Viento is a good reel.what matters is what your going to be using it for. go for a 7' m if its going to bae an all purpose go for mod or fast action. but i would definatley recommend 7'. st. croix, american rodsmith, falcon, powell,e21 all make a good rod. but dont know about the 2 peice :-/
  8. I still use one for a shallow crank and wakebait reel. It is a gooood reel for the money. honestley. i have yet to have a problem with mine. its not the best in world but for less than $80 it would be hard to beat.
  9. Castaway makes a specialty rod for this, i dont know the proper name for it. but i know it has a picture of a rat l trap on it.
  10. i use the yum in crawfish scent. does it work? i do not know. when i use it i catch fish, when i dont use it i still catch fish. i do think that it could be redone with something that makes it stay on your bait longer. it seems to me that its only good for about 3 casts then you have to re apply.
  11. rat l trap redzones and xcalibur xr50 foxy shad and xr75 rayburn red
  12. Stanley Icon or Stanley Wedge
  13. American rodsmith champions series marked (carolina riggin). 7' mh fast
  14. good to hear that, i just ordered 2
  15. DUDE! the twitchin bar isnt made for reeling in a fish, or any amount of pressure like that. its made for subtle movements of baits.
  16. Can anyone please give me some feedback on the quality=price ratio. or just any info please. :-?
  17. This is probably a dumb question, but i am about to go night fishing and would like to know everyones opinion. Im going to fish 12" tx rigged worms and want to know the better color. JUNEBUG or BLACK. or it doesnt matter because they both work.
  18. I dont have that one, but i do have the cheapo version. the megaforce. I LOVE IT!!!!! i use it as my senko rig. someone else i know that has one uses it for suspending jerks and says that one little twitch from that bar on a jerk can make a difference. anyway the cheap version with 12lb suffix seige can cast a weightless senko like a dream.
  19. do i also need chemical gloves and a full face respirator?
  20. B B B B B B
  21. All I have heard is keep it cool or else !!!!! I asked the same question on a different thread and never got an answer. cant keep it in the boat, cant bring it in your house. WHERE can i keep it at my house?
  22. Good reel, i love mine. look into Falcon original, or American Rodsmith Team series.
  23. I hate to say this, but try a senko and let the current take it right at them. dont forget flukes and slug gos
