  1. I know what you mean, I work at a lake, and my first hour of work in the morning is cleaning up the junk...but I do make a small pfrofit from the beer cans when I turn them in( last year it was a little over 500 lbs.) There are dumpsters at each end of the launch. But if people want to pay me bokoo bucks to pick up trash, so be it.
  2. avoid it all cabela's is a short drive in wheeling,wv.
  3. No, but everyone thinks I do because I deer/bear hunt with a 44-40. I like the fact that my rifle and revolver shoot the same ammo.
  4. We used to go to the one in Killeen when I was in the army, I miss it alot. We had a guy that begged to go, and every time, all he would eat is pizza! ;D
  5. 5.Bedtime Stories 4.The Waterboy 3.Billy Madison 2.Happy Gilmore 1.Reign over me
  6. The factory prop on my '72 Johnson took a beating, it was nylon. I had to replace it last year, they only had aluminum, I haven't had the "opportunity" to smoke test it on a floater log.
  7. I work for the gov't, we have a good plan, I put 5% of my pay in, and they match it. I don't recall what the interest rate currently is.
  8. When I was a little younger, and a lot dumber, I was going to get Elmer Fudd on my back, with rabbit tracks going "south".
  9. I have a 12' deep-v with a bow mounted TM, one of the attwood permanent lights(small and chrome) fit nice. The rear one is one I made out of 1/2" pvc and a jam nut.
  10. I hated my removable lights, I mounted permanent units on and never looked back.
  11. After 3 1/2 years of active army, and 4 years of inactive reserve, I'm officially out of the army. I probably wouldn't have cared, but I had a "desirable" job in the army, which is why I got a 6 month stop loss, and always heard rumors of getting recalled. I didn't leave anything in Afghanistan, and I don't plan on returning. 8-)
  12. As mentioned earier, the ammo company should provide balistics on the web. I never cared for stix, I have had good experience with the harris bi-pod laying in the prone, or sitting indian style.
  13. Maybe it was in honor of IHOP's pineapple upside down pancake week. ;D
  14. I watched the one about machine guns, I wish I could sit behind Ma Duece one more time. :'(
  15. Fishing for carp on the Allegheny, in one trip we caught a 12" block, a 20" bike, a piece of carpet, a wiring harness, and an inflatable doll. :-? Caught em' on 30lb test and sheetz bagels. ;D
  16. Him and that growth on his chin look happy to be there. ;D
  17. I had to break down and turn the ac on today. ;D
  18. I play a little bluegrass on the banjo.
  19. It really sucks when you wear 2 hearing aids, feels like my head is going to explode.
  20. Revolvers are great in the sense that they are fool proof, but when they do have a glitch, its usually very bad. I carry a Ruger P94 .40S&W, I love the cartridge, but hate the gun, it's been nothing but trouble. I have several Ruger rifles that are great, but I will never buy another Ruger semi-auto handgun again. If you don't mind carrying a full frame gun, I recommend the .40, or 10mm. The 10mm is a little harder to find, but it is alot more powerful than the .40. I'd stay away from the 9mm, it is cheaper to shoot, but the 10mm was introduced in the 80's, shortly after crack's debut, because the 9mm was horribly under powered for the target. I'm a firearm collector, reloader, target shooter, and hunter, if you have a cartridge question, PM me and I'll try to give you a little info. Can't go wrong with a Glock, you can bury it in the sand for a year, dig it up and fire away. Mark
  21. If I were limited to one band, it would be The Who.
  22. I heard a song today I thought I'd never hear again. If I knew how to add links, I would, the song: In the year 2525 by Zager & Evans. It's a weird song, but then again, I'm weird.
  23. If they would stop putting air bags in cars, and mount machete's on the steering wheels, people would learn to drive better.
  24. It isn't so much people here, its the vicious dogs they can't control. On average 1 person gets an ambulance ride because of them per week. I have my CCP, and just like my wallet, my old double barreled .410 derringer goes in my pocket, one side with #7 shot, the other has a .45 long colt. I was charged in my yard by a boxer, it cornered me it the garage...it's no longer with us.
