  1. If it’s a Dobyns I’d go Med. The ML is real whippy and their rods IMO are over rated so a Med is like a ML elsewhere
  2. Sometimes EBay has a 20% off sale and retailers also have the reel on sale, so it’s off the sale price. Keep an eye out on the Bass Resource Fishing Tackle forum and there is a Sale Thread that will usually tell about good sales
  3. Daiwa LT 2000 Braid to Fluoro Leader for my Ned Rig on a St. Croix Avid X Series Spin Rod 6'9" Med Lt ExtraFast
  4. Keitech 3.3” Swing Impact Fat for smaller forage on a Keitech Tungsten Super around Jig Head
  5. This ^^ Spinning rod 6’8”-7’ Baitcaster same length fast action
  6. I have an old Falcon Lowrider 6’10” MF with a Shimano Sahara and 15# Power Pro braid to a Seagur Invizix 12# Leader I use either the Megastrike Shake2 Pro Model Shakey Head or the Buckeye Lures Spot Removers Pro Model
  7. And Black Friday is only 90 days away
  8. I have a chance to get a 7’ Med Moderate Falcon Mansfield Special baitcaster rated 1/4-1/2 I know Moderate action is usually for Crankbaits but would it work for a Whopper Plopper 90 since treble hooks are used?
  9. Zman TRD Ned rig Senko Wacky or Texas Keitech Swing Impact Swimbait Paca Craws different sizes jigs Chigger Craws Texas or jigs Hags Tornado Shaky Head
  10. St Croix Legend 6’10” ML Xfast with a Tatula LT 2000 Great finesse combo
  11. I have a 6’8” St Croix Mojo MXF for poppers and small topwaters paired with a Daiwa SV105 Casts great and no problem with landing fish
  12. I found some for Tatula Ct and Fuego CT on the EBay at Ray’s Studio and they work great Never found anything for a Lews
  13. Great bait..motor oil color
  14. Was a Shimano spinning reel person but switched to Tatula LT and won’t look back
  15. Wacky Or T-Rig Senko; Keitech 3.5” Swing Impact on a jig head; Ned Rig
  16. I have this set up for my weightless 4”Senko especially wacky Rig. Love the rod.
  17. Very, very nice rod for really small panfish baits. I have one with a Tatula LT 1000 and 6# Silver Thread AN40 coploymer line, but if you hook into a decent bass, have your drag set really loose. Trust me, it bends so far it scares me that it will snap.
  18. I use a Chug Bug 06 in Black Red and kills them. I’ve used silver black Pop R too but not as successful as black red chug bug
  19. For a finesse swimbait I use a Keitech 3.5" Swing Impact on a Keitech Super Round 1/16 #1 Tungsten jig head and a spinning rod with 6# copolymer
  20. I use Trilene XL for my poppers and use Silver Thread Copolymer AN40 on some of my finesse bait casters and all my non braid spinning reels.
  21. I’d call first to see what they have. Or you can go to their website and look at the rods you are interested in and see if they are in stock at your store. You can save a lot of time and gas.
  22. I had bad line twist problems with straight Fluoro I now use 10# Power Pro to a 8# Seagur Invizix Leader or straight coploymer 6# Silver Thread AN40 with very few problems
  23. As an alternative to Trilene look at Silver Thread AN40 It’s a copolymer that I use on spinning reels with virtually no wind twist. I use 6#
