  1. Gary Loomis has a new one that is about $200 and looks good.
  2. I have the Shimano Crucial and reLly like it. I think it may be 7'2".
  3. I keep all of my receipts. If my wife ever finds them, I'm gonna die.
  4. Cut half of the blades off of the trolling motor prop.
  5. I fish them both ways, about 50/50 and both produce about the same. Either way, they are weightless.
  6. Yeah, I've had that one for a while. It's also nice to be able to refer to it while on the water.
  7. Yeah, we used to use them to "slingshot" lures under stuff.
  8. I'm tired of picking out over runs. And my kid is tired of waiting on me to pick out over runs. We're go na go to BPS and get him a new spincast and I was wanting your opinions. I've read some reviews on both and some are good and some are not. Whaddya say???
  9. What is the hook used for? For worms, I use the Owner Twist Lock. For the soft swimbaits, I like the weighted Mustad. Wacky rigs get the Gamakatsu Weedless Finesse Wide Gap.
  10. I know that I love my 51Mg7.
  11. I wouldn't fool with it and just keep a watch on it. If the crack starts to propagate, then I would take action. A couple of my rods have some cracked epoxy aroung the guides and it's never been a problem. Just watch it, you'll probably be OK.
  12. I would just keep an eye on it, but being that far down, it shouldn't matter a whole lot. Although, that is the part of the blank that does a lot of bending.
  13. I wouldn't chance it on carry-on. It seems that most of the TSA people in MEM were crack dealers on the street last week. I don't trust their knowledge on any of the rules. Same as with knives. There are leagle ones, but I won't chance it. The TSA doesn't instill a secure feeling in me.
  14. Simply be ause I prefer to have fresh line. I'm not gonna chance losing a fish of a lifetime because I heard on the internet that my line will last for years. I choose to replace my line about twice a year because I know that plastics and polymers breakdown when subjected to UV radiation.
  15. A date would also be a cool addition.
  16. 4" Senko in watermelon magic, either texas or wacky.
  17. Speaking of sensitivity, I have the Infinity 735. After a long cast with a Zoom Swimmin Super Fluke Jr, I can feel the paddle tail swimming. I'd say thats pretty sensitive. This is with 15lbs InvizX.
  18. I think the "outlet" port on the male is round and the female is more oval or oblong.
  19. Those reels are like a small block Chevy, you can do anything and everything to them. There are all kinds of aftermarket parts for them. How deep is your wallet?!?!?!
  20. I have the 735 and love it. I have a Core 51 on it and it is a great combination. I use it for all of my plastics and some jigs. Using 15lbs InvizX, I can feel just about everything thats going on. It was a great purchase for me.
  21. That "liquid" is sulfuric acid. It will eat the cloth, probably the foam and if it gets to metal, it will rust that as well. Depending on how much leaked out, you could have a small problem on your hands. Most parts stores have a neutralizer that will help stop it. You also might be able to mix up a solution of baking soda and water that will help to neutralize it. The battery isn't ruined, you can top it off with more acid. The seat, well,.......
  22. You need a razor blade, a pair of pliers and a beer. Good Luck, I've been there myself!
  23. I have caught a few with the hook still in them. I was able to remove it and I know that improved the quality of life for it. It's kinda hard to say though, as each case is different. I lost a big one a few weeks ago when my line popped. I always crush the barb on all of my single hook stuff. I'm pretty sure this fish was able to get the hook out on its on.
  24. I grab the line right in front of the reel and twitch it. It seems like I can control the wiggle a little better this way.
  25. Looking through the GYCB catalog, I didn't see a "green flash". It may be a color exclusive to DSG. Bill, look at color #149, rootbeer w/ lg gold.
