  1. I picked up 6 Norman deep little N's for $2 a pop!
  2. Its actually a battery pack, but i should have known better. The camera i am using is actually my old one that i replaced! I guess i will just stick to that one.
  3. Went out crainkin again today and got three 4+ lb bass in a few hours including a 6 lber. I got this first one captured, but i went to take a picture of the biggin MY BATTERIES DIED!@!@!. The thing that sucks is when i got back home it turned right on...I hate electronics sometimes.

I purchased No Knot fas-snap from Cabelas, and so far i could not be less impressed. My first day out my craink came off while i was reeling in....Have you guys had this problem? Thanks, VC
  5. NICE FISH!! Congrats!
  6. It's just resting on the seat
  7. Nice eye endless! My toon is out of commission so im using my neighbors 12 foot aluminum! After using that boat today it just motivates me even more to get my tracker! That's nice of him. Did he go too? Sucks your platoon down. How long you think that's down? I'm trying to get my tri-haul going. Been down too long 3 years. Nope, just me all day. It will probably be down the rest of the summer

  9. Yes sir! Thats all we got in our lake
  10. I was in your position only a short time ago, but one thing i have taken from this past week of fishing was that 90% of crainkbait fishing is technique, not the color or lure you are using. One member told me that, but i never thought that could be until i noticed when they were biting almost all my crainks were working and vice versa.
  11. DT 14s and 20s: Silver, green shad, chart. brown, chart. purple shiner. DD20: Sour grape, pearl white, red ear All produced at least one fish
  12. When is *** going to have the 7" thumpers?
  13. Last week i posted about my day where i found a few spots on a drop off that were amazing. Well today i went back out there and starting throwing DT 14s, DT 20s, and DD20s. My first cast i hooked into a HOG. I fought it for a few minutes until it showed her pretty self off before spitting the hook. I could have gotten discouraged, but i continued to throw numerous colors and depths, all producing. I caught ten bass, including a 5lb bass and the 40 in muskie shown below. I am so addicted to deep cranking i don't think i'm going back to anything else!
  14. Congrats! Sounds like a lot of fun!
  15. My family almost moved out to Lake Norman, NC. This picture doesnt make me feel any better about not... Congrats on the fish dude!
  16. I think everyone else has covered it, but one thing i like to tell people when started to frog fish is to be patient. Slow that frog down when it is needed and when you get a strike, sit back and count to 3 then set the hook as hard as you can... Also use a double palamar knot. I learned the hard way when i started froggin
  17. I would definitely go with the 7:1. IMO you have more control over what the crainkbait is doing. Think of this way, it is WAY easier to slow yourself down then to burn that reel with the 5:1. And yes go with the Curado
  18. Personally, i never use anything that has the northland name on it...have just never had luck with anything they have made.

You are kind of all over the place this post, but one thing you should think about is ssslllloowwwwwiiiiinnngggg down your presentation. Whenever the frogs aren't getting bit well this is what i do and it usually works. If not, they want something else. BTW i use Spro's and Bully Wa's
  20. The thing i am wondering is whether i should invest in shad colors if our only hatch is bluegill, perch, etc.
  21. haha looks like we are neighbors! I live in Maple Grove
  22. In what situations would you use white and black? White.....clear to light stained. Black.....night or darker stained water. I've caught more bass on a white crank then any other color. All white?
  23. In what situations would you use white and black?
  24. Yea it does suck but you cant expect to catch a muskie on 8 lb test even if he didnt snap it on the jump he would have doing something else. Muskies are one of the most powerful fresh water fish hands down. That was one of my three 6lb + fish that i have ever caught but that one actually is not my PB. It does look HUGE though
