The Biffle head is a football head and meant to be drug on the bottom. This looks more like it's meant to be swam.

Lucky Craft is in the business of selling finished baits. It just wouldn't make sense for them to sell unfinished blanks. There are a lot of people out there claiming to have them though.
  3. I usually go for shad patterns on poppers and walking baits.

Just playing devil's advocate here. I've got some custom paints that the guy swore were LC blanks. I bought them for the paint jobs and I never really believed they were LC baits. Where does one go about buying unpainted LC blanks? Why would LC sell blanks at a very low price for someone else to paint and mark up? Can any of these painters produce packaging or a receipt or any kind of proof that these blanks came from Lucky Craft? Like I said, I've got a few of these baits and they catch fish. I don't really care if they are LC or not and I will buy more without hesitation. I've just never seen any proof that they are Lucky Craft.
  5. You won't have any trouble with micro guides and mono, braid or fluoro.

That's a good idea but unfortunately the Bull Shad isn't built like that. The back hook hanger isn't on the last joint, let alone at the back of the bait.
  7. When I fish braid I tie direct. Like you said though, it's personal preference.
  8. X2 The Tackle Trap stocks all that stuff. I think they sell the HSTA handle assembly as a set.
  9. First person to send me a PM can have my Curado 50e for $190! 1,2,3....GO!
  10. Nice work, you're feather inlays look great! I wish more people would post their rod builds.
  11. It's at the very bottom on the front of the non handle side.
  12. Which is why he made the thread in the first place.
  13. Thank god this sale ended before I got my tax return, I would have been in trouble. I've been wanting to order a Tatula rod and reel from Ron at Valley Sports so I'm glad I wasn't able to blow my refund at TW.
  14. The sale should be over tomorrow.
  15. Yep It also says the price in the description section, the very 1st line in the paragraph.
  16. I'm in, thanks for setting it up.
  17. I figure $700-$1000 will go to fishing. I'm planning on a Tatula Type R, a Curado I or a Chronarch CI4 and a couple of rod blanks with components.
  18. It's clearly KVD's to lose but the finals will be on a new lake so who knows. Ehler, Martens and Hackney all looked very strong too.
  19. Ouch, I haven't watched the newest episode yet. That's just adding insult to injury though.
