  1. Nice work. It's cool to see and listen to these guys in a more relaxed atmosphere. You really get to understand them better and see what kind of person they really are. Thanks again guys
  2. There was an article not to long ago in Pond Boss Magazine pertaining to this subject. A gentleman noticed the bass he was catching were of strange shape and at times enlarged stomach. After research they found that the bass were loaded with plastic baits. You wouldn't throw a plastic bag overboard would you? Just dispose of the baits properly.
  3. I live near the beginning of the Susquehanna River (near Cooperstown, NY) and on Sunday I fish parts of the river and part of a lake it flows into. The temps were between 61 and 63 and the there were fish spawning. Good Luck!
  4. Thats a waste of 30minutes on television.

Arrghhh!!! They have made me so mad that it has actually ruined my day/evening of fishing. Granted I can't stand them running around the lake, but I would deal with it much better if they only had respect for others. Why if the F'in H'll do they need to hang around the boat launch and act like total a'holes. I am a person who doesn't like confrontation, but after trying several times to put my boat on the trailer without success because of a couple of jet fleas, I was going to take on all 6 of them. I must have sounded pretty frightening cause they all eft. I didnt know I had it in me. If some one gets me that mad something is really wrong.

Bob Lusk is on aboard?!?! Well that is awesome!!!
  8. Yes, you can be good at both. I fish WAY more then I golf, but my dad likes to golf more then he likes to fish. I like to spend time with my dad, so in short I've become a good golfer and a better fisherman. Maybe that helps. Oh and I have a full-time job that usually is more then 40 hours a week and I'm 29. Life is short. Play Hard!!
  9. Its tough to exactly say from just the picture. It looks like an unicellular agal bloom, specifically blue-green algae. But on the other hand it could be a mix of duckweed and watermeal, which are plants not algae. If it is duckweed and watermeal there is probably a high amount of nitrogen entering the water, via. fertilizer or farm animals. If this is the case then there is a good chance there is a fish population. If that is blue-green algae then, yes there may be fish, but they are going to be stressed due to the DO and pH problems. If you get to fish the pond and find out its duckweed and watermeal (they will be small plants that stick to everything, like your hand or fishing lure) tie on a top water plug and hold on!
  10. I catch a lot of smallies near steep cliffs with deep water. For largemouth you really need to use your electronics and find those secret areas. One way I do have luck with largemouth is when the water is high, a lot of timber becomes submersed in the backs of certain coves and can produce. Good Luck!
  11. I had two similar situations and both times my MK shafts broke. I'm a MG guy now.
  12. [pre]Is Dag Gum English?[/pre] I use to live in Tennessee. One of those southern terms that made me laugh and had to bring up north.
  13. Did some one miss their 4:20 break?
  14. Not sure how big the crack is, but a simple repair kit like "Bondo" may do the job. Just google fiberglass repair kit and you'll get several options. I guess it really depends on the size of the crack.
  15. MG is a good motor. Probably isolated incidents. Be careful of reviews and how people post them. This goes for any product. Some people will get a product have it a week and post a review stating how great the product is and its the best ever. Hmmm and you only had it a week.....interesting. Others will post negative reviews when they actually have no idea what they are talking about. So just be careful and really analyze their comments. Mostly its all about preference. I've tried both and like MG better. Basically which ever serves your purposes the best.
  16. Dag gum! Is that English??
  17. Congrats! My wife is looking into doing the same thing. She is currently looking into classes and where to take them. Cool! Good Luck!
  18. LOL that is wild!

That is one possibility. Another is does your brother act submissive to the dog? Or seem slightly frightened by the dog? Maybe he needs to show the dog he is in control, not the other way around. Sometimes subtle gestures is all it takes.
  20. I feel you! I lived in the northeast for quite a while, but then moved to Tennessee for about 4 years then back to the northeast to be closer to family. That is awesome and all, but dang the winter just doesn't want to let up around here. Some B, is all we want is some warmer temps. to get out on the water and catch some fish!!
  21. Ummm Ummm thanks Bassn Blvd, I'm going to throw up right now. I'm definitely believe I will be scarred for life. YIKES!!!!
  22. I'm a fan of the Sony Cybershots. Been using them for years with great reliability and the pictures are very nice! Good luck there are several good models out there.

Ris Kid, I know should have stayed. This is my first real Northeastern winter since I was a kid. I was just hoping for some warmer temps. by now. Had a couple of beers last night to drown my sorrows. Keep em coming!

Yeah, sometimes I do miss living in Tennessee! Heres to all the Southerners.
