you can take the head of the trolling motor off and spin it around so that the head with the speed control is facing you, but the prop is facing forward. you should be able to mount it to the front with no problems. if not get a 2x4 and place in the front. take a pictue of the boat that way we can see it better.

Check the wiring, check the spark plugs. could be a stator. If the wiring has never been changed that could be your problem.

Definately the cold winter months. I always get the urge to go, but I hardly ever catch anything. >

there are alot of batteries and chargers out there. i use a deep cycle battery from wal-mart, that is made for trolling motor purposes. infact it even says trolling on the battery. i've been pleased with it. as for a charger i would definately get one that has an automatic shut-off that way you don't over charge the battery and damage the cells. good luck

i had problems similar with mine. it was the one on my trolling motor. i must have bumped it off a stump or rock (the transducer) and it had turned a bit on its side and everytime i would use speed 4 or 5 it would goof up.

unscrew the top part or the case and slowly lift it up. then you should be able to turn the arrow in the right direction. then just put the case back on.

Bass Hammer got it right. When there is lee pressure the fish will move about and be more active. When the pressure rise it causes the fish to move cover and hold real tight. It also gives them the feeling of being full, which makes it even more difficult to catch.

yeah it is fun catching fish on something you created. Thanks for the help guys. I will have to try pouring slower. I am sending a worm to lurecraft to show them what it is doing. If it is a bad batch of plastic maybe they will get me a new one. Haha I dought it , but I'll see what happens. ;D

I just started pouring my own worms not long ago. One problem that have noticed is I will tend to get air bubbles after I poured the worm. This happens more so when I try to pour two colored worms. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Chris I have a question. When a lake turns over in the fall or winter (depending on location) you said that fish can be hard to find because of the homothermous temperatures. This I understand, but here in the south, most of the lakes are monomictic, (meaning they only turn once a year)therefore they would mix throughout the winter until spring comes. Would this cause the bass to be roaming the entire winter or do they seem to stage in similar places as you mentioned earlier?

i make my own plastic worms and one that i make is about 12". it costs about 0.90 for a bag of ten and i can make them whatever color i want. its a lot of fun too. you should defiantely look into it.

Fly fishing is a great sport. Don't fly fish for bass, just for trout. I love to go backing and get back to some remote areas and fly fish for trout. I don't think there is anything more rewarding and relaxing. One of the best experiences is when you are fly fishing in the snow.

if its a new pond, those will probably hit just about anything. a new pond or lake is a great place to fish.

yeah im pretty sure they are not to hard to replace. look online for an authorized dealer. there might be one close to where your at, and they should have the part or be able to get it for you.
