I did testing on oils and grease while in the Army. Slip2000 oils, lubricants are the best I found TW25 is the best grease I could find. I use both on my weapons and on my reels.

When and under what conditions do you use topwaters? I want to know what topwater for what conditions. I have only caught fish on the pop-r usually before a storm hits.

5/16 eakins jig or pro model spider jig, both made by jewel baits. I use regular zoom trailers

When and under what conditions do you throw a buzzbait? What weight buzzbait do ya'll throw? Never caught a fish on one, but watched a guy in the club catch 2 ten pounders on choke canyon with one this year.

A large difference between the two is configuration. Nitro will not allow you to make any changes to the configuration. Stratos gives you the option to change trolling motor and depth finder, ect. The stratos is longer, but less width Nitro is shorter, but wider Tracker vs. Genmar

I tried the revo's and even spent money on the Revo Premiere. Sold all of them because I didn't like the way they felt. am looking at trying shimano or quantum now and don't want to spend more than $200 for a reel. Tried the pflueger presidents as well, but they only lasted 2 seasons before stripping out and having to be completly rebuilt

I am wondering how big a difference between 7 bearings and 10 bearings are in a reel. Is it worth the $40 dollars? If everything else is the same what is the deal?

The one in Grapevine Texas had last years Extremes for $30 dollars on Saturday, but they were going fast.

Fished a tournament last weekend where the wind blew 30 mph most of the day. Only way to catch the fish was on soft plastics on the bottom. Would not take actions lures at all. Nobody in the tournament caught fish on anything but t-rig worms

If you are fishing around trees the 12 lb test is the lightest I would go

I try and try again to get a fish with a buzzbait to no no avail. the second I tie on a Pop R then wham I have fish in the boat

is there a test I can use to check the battery? Would the battery test kit at autozone be able to detect that?

My 46 lb thrust foot controlled motorguide has decided it will only work for about 20 minutes. What is the cause of this? How can I fix it while on a tight budget?
