  1. Counting on Manning tonight....
  2. Omelets! Spice em up with a little salsa!
  3. great photos AND great posts, thanks RoLo, always enjoy your writings.
  4. What are some cool fishing shirts and where to get them? My buddy has a Power Pro long sleeve shirt that I think looks awesome but I can't find one online. I also love Guy Harvey and BP t-shirts. Who makes the best tactical fishing shirts? Anyone to avoid?
  5. freakish! im always stunned
  6. If it were me I would definitely go with the Sol and upgrade it to Solasaurus status. One thing I heard about the Sol is it feels unbalanced on a heavier rod.
  7. Weirdo. Seriously though if they can do that at Green Top, I might run over there.....
  8. Nice, I think the gadgets are part of the fun. Just like gear is part of the fun of fishing for me. I use a Xikar dual torch and a Xi Cutter both in gunmetal color - they look gorgeous together and I love lighting up with them! I have to echo Sfritr's love for Padron. The 1926 serie number 9 is the bees knees, it just really does it for me. Currently I've been blessed with the fortune of a handful of Cuban Cohiba Robustos finding their way to me and I assure you any review I attempt to write would not do them justice! Also per Dan's suggestion and also reviews from friends, the Kuba Kuba will probably be my next cigar. Would anyone be down to setup a weekly smoke/cigar suggestion and we can all come back on the forum and post our review? I simply enjoy a cigar more if I can talk about it with other people and share the experience.
  9. To those who sent me PMs for the files, I will send them as soon as I can but I'm in the middle of setting up a new computer so give me a little time to get some stuff organized. Thanks Does anyone here own a personal humidor? I was tempted to get one and start a collection but I don't know much about it. I've googled around a bit trying to collect easy-to-understand, modern information but it's not that easy! Wish there was a cigar forum nearly as helpful as BR is for fishing. http://www.thebesthumidor.com/ I thought this humidor looked badass but it seems that the retailer might not exist anymore. Any suggestions of a good starting humidor? What size? What price? Any other buying tips?
  10. Is the discount at all dependent upon the item that it is?
  11. Cool, I'll try to check it out.
  12. I'm wondering who else on the board loves cigars? A few months ago I created my own Cigar Dossier that I would like to share with whomever. I made two versions. One cover features Winston Churchill, one features JFK. Each journal has fun cigar facts and history to read while smoking, a gauge guide, a length guide, a color/wrapper guide, and even various flavor spectrum visuals to assist in the description of your smoke... oh ya and of course pages of rating forms with places to tape or glue your wrappers. If anyone is interested in one, I can send you the files. The two in the photo were bound at Kinkos for less than 10 bucks.
  13. Our fraternity house dog for a year was a half Rott half lab. Gentle, calm, never barked ever. Sat at the door and top of the stairs like a real guard dog. I personally like really agile dogs like border collies and australian shepherds, but if i wanted something with less energy I'd definately consider this breed!
  14. Taking it back is easier than toying around with it trying to fix it. I'd take it back.
  15. Do any of these awesome sounding apps exist for my PC?
  16. Anyone know what dictates how much cashback it is when/what days? There are a few items I've been waiting for a right time to buy and I would hate to buy today and get 10% off and then tomorrow see I could have been offered 15% or 20 or however high it may go.
  17. I haven't fished the Core 50 but I've played with them plenty in the store and the description "tank" does not come to mind. In fact, the first time I picked it up in Green Top, the lightness surprised me and I audibly exclaimed "whoa" and the salesperson said "I know, it feels like a toy, doesn't it?" I'm sure it performs outstanding and I think it's a beautiful little reel but tank is not the description I would use.
  18. While $40 more than you were looking for, I think the Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Combo is actually a pretty sweet setup - I like the 7 foot medium rod with extra fast tip. The rod actually had great power. Get whatever ratio you like best, I got the 6.4 for an all-around reel.
  19. One of the most impressive looking combos I've seen, for sure.
  20. Daiwa Steez: 12 lb/120 yds 5.6 OZ 7.1:1 11 BB/1RB $480 Shimano Core 50MG7: 12 lb/85 5.5 OZ 7.1:1 8 BB/1RB $370 Daiwa Pixy: 8 lb / 80yds 5.7 oz 5.8:1 8BB/1RB $330 Shimano Aldebaran Mg7 12 lb / 100 yards 5.5 oz 7.0:1 8BB/1RB $389 The BASIC stats look all about the same to me. Are these reels all designed to do the same stuff (finesse?)? Which one is the best quality and how do you tell apart from price? Not knowing much about the internal workings of reels and the latest technology, do these reels really have different offerings for the angler? If you own one of these or multiple, would you please compare them here and describe what the reel most excels at in your opinion?
  21. Which pics yall talking about? I sent a link to Maroon and Orange colored Bud Light cans.
  22. http://www.techsideline.com/message_board/football/2009/August/12/3249687.php Bud knows. They're making Hokie Beer!
  23. If you're worried about it spray some garlic scent on your bait - that will cover up anything!. It works for my uncle.
  24. Not just b/c they won the ACC. People expect this team to rival the team when Vick took them to the National Championship game, and they have a kid by the name of Ryan Williams who looks godly in spring practice, and they have a kid by the name of David Wilson coming in who was personally called at home by Urban Meyer to come and fill Percy Harvin's spot, and a much improved O Line, and a recruit out of Florida who is supposed to be an absolute STAR DB and returner, and a QB of Tyrod Taylor back, and NO MORE Sean Glennon even in site on the field. GO HOKIES!
