  1. I'd say yes if you have the money spend it. I have a GL3 7 ft. heavy action and, it is by far my favorite rod that I own.
  2. I rig mine the same exact way. Throw it out let it sink for a few seconds then just twitch it a few times pause and reel up the slack, and repeat. Also caught quite a few fish while fishing it fast keeping it near the top of the water.
  3. Growing up I always fished my neighborhood ponds with Zoom Super Flukes, and always did well. Color is all up to you, but I almost always went with Watermelon Seed, or Smokin' Shad.
  4. I'm moving up to Tallahassee to go to FSU. I've never done any fishing up there does anyone know of any good spots to fish from the bank, because I won't have my boat to use. Thanks.
  5. I'd also go with the Shimano Sahara if you have the extra 10 bucks or so. I just got a new one off TW for $79.99.
  6. Ya I went there yesterday evening and fished the canal going into lake Gatlin and around the two islands in Little Lake Conway. We caught 7 in about 3 hours with the biggest fishing being about 2 lbs. We used 10 inch worms and zoom speed craws but most of the fish came off the speed craw.
  7. GYCB Flappin' Hog
  8. Did they make any changes to ramp or did they just resurface it?
  9. I was just wanting to know if anyone knows if the ramp off Hoffner is back open? I went to fish there a few months ago and they were redoing the ramp. Thanks, Nick
  10. Bitters Magic Wand. Check it out at bittersbaitandtackle.com
  11. Been doin good on the Winter Park Chain, and Johns Lake.
  12. I used the XPS line saver for awhile, and now i use the KVD and it is much better and softens up the line a ton.
  13. I fish ponds in orlando too, and i kill it with swimming flukes and Bitters naked swimmer.
  14. I was just wondering what line conditioner you use? I have been using the XPS Line Saver, and it seems to be doing a alright job. Just want to see what you guys use. Thanks, Nick
  15. What size weighted hook do you guys house?
  16. I love mine also. I would get a few more if i had the money.
  17. I know people hate on it, but i only use vanish. I have never had a problem with it and i will keep using it until i have a problem.
  18. Im sure the easiest way would be down 417 to 408, but if you go to google and type in R.D Keene Park and Boat Ramp it will give you an exact address.
  19. I used the boat ramp on Conroy Rd. , but will not use it again. It was nice, but i guess the city doesn't want people parking at the ramp, they want people to park down the road and walk. The closest place to park is a Albertson's which is right a 1/2 mile walk. So next time i go the the chain i will be using a boat ramp off of Chase Rd and that ramp cost $5 dollars to use everytime.

  21. I did have a great day on the chain. We caught the most fish on lake down and little lake down but caught more quality fish on lake butler. It was really nice and clean and i will be goin back.
  22. my most successful color would be houdini. I don't find them a waste of money at at all they have produced more fish for me this year than any other lure.
