  1. I have yet to register mine. Thanks for the heads up doing that today.
  2. X1 I just bought two and only needed one Saturday. I fished most of the day too and in some good winds. I used them for my 50lb motor. Now they brought back the 18 month warranty. Size 29. Also make sure if going with the Everstart is you go to several different Walmarts and check the prices. You might find them cheaper at other stores. I got mine here in Va for $75 at two different Walmart's (Fredericksburg, Spotsy) but another Walmart(Ashland) had the same one for $85. So even with Walmart the price can vary. Also Iwould check into what s13john was telling us and go to www.autozone.com, I think thats website and they offer a discounts percentage off online you can print out and take it to the store. Here's my link on batteries if what to read more on the Walmart's Everstarts. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1298426407/0
  3. it only gets better when the vegetation comes up, talk about some fun top water action! Those lakes are fun to fish! I went back down there later that evening bf dark and caught 2 bass off the bank, top lake dam. I have a new frog setup I'm trying to try it and not only that I have redemption to get!! I'm mad and out for vengeance. It's on POWHATAN LAKES!! > lol
  4. There we go. Proud to be a witness to it.
  5. I tried sending the pic to your phone did you get it?
  6. And you should lol. Post up the pic!
  7. Congrats! Nice meeting you and your buddy, hookingem and his buddy. Sorry i forgot the names. Me, kaotic1, and s13john went to the lower lake and that's where I was giving the opportunity to watch, lol. Kaotic1 pulled in what a 3.2? Congrats for first jig fish, meant to tell you out there. s13john had a 4.8 and congrats to him for a great bass to start off the year. It was really fun and I had a great time.
  8. Yea I'm coming as well. Solo also. I went and got some takle together. All I got do now is find my way there. See everyone tomorrow.
  9. Are there any specific reasons you want to go the truck box route? I mean a cooler is already water tight and insulated... I use a cheap 48qt cooler from wally world (~$20) that I put an aerator in and it serves my needs just fine. A larger cooler would have been nice but the 48qt holds 5 bass without a problem. Not really just size and price wise. I went there last night and they had a the truck box for $44 and it's a 50 gallon. But I might just go the cooler route also just cause I wouldn't know the first thing about insulating them.
  10. By my lonely but I'm there!
  11. It might have a few fish in it if not many, who knows. But the real good thing being so close to home is it could be a good place to try out any new lures or set ups and you never know what might happen. Well good luck!
  12. From what I've read form weather.com there is a 30% chance of rain is that going to stop anyone? I have a rain suit so I'm prepared, lol. @Kaotic1- Yea I went to BPS and picked out some guide on's but for $69. The just just the one that stand up and adjust to the size of your boat. Hopefully they serve the purpose. Once I'm able to extend my trailer I might install a wrench on it. That's good on the seats and yea I hated those plain plastic seats. I just had the plain blue ones without the cushion.
  13. BPS has the BPS tournament pro low back seat on sale for $39.97 originally $44.99. These are the ones that the flyer has on sale. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10205158_225008001_225000000_225008000?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT Depending on what your trying to spend but I would definitely not buy those the cheap plastic ones especially if you will be raising your seat up. Ha ha last year I almost went over board from the bolts holding my seat on snapped. I did look at the one's at walmart, The plastic one with padding but I'm not sure the bolting area was just plastic or if had a metal insert. I just feel safer with those. Walmart does seem cheaper though so I would check their first. They sell the clamps too. I was going to pick me up another battery but i might get the bunk style board guide on at BPS. They got em for $99.97. That would definitely make it easier pulling my boat back up the trailer by hand since I don't have a wrench and won't have to worry about the boat falling in between the boards no more. Can I get something like this cheaper else where? http://www.basspro.com/Shipshape%E2%84%A2-Bunk-Board-GuideOn-Kit/product/1071/-332442
  14. The seat clamps are nice. They just tighten on by 4 wing nuts. The pedestals are nice too like I have up front. I can take off the seat or pop out the whole pedestal. I take it off when I'm pulling the pulling the boat.
  15. I went about 4 weeks ago and was skunked. Me and my brother. He had one hit his sexy shad but lost it.
  16. That I'm sure it's not is it needed? or does insulation helps keep the temperature the same if so lining the truck box with sheets of styrofoam would that help? Keeping the water cool is critical to keep the fish alive. The lack of insulation plus the metal would allow it to get too hot IMO. Styrofoam still won't give you the insulation qualities you'd need. Is there any possible way to insulate the truck box?

  18. Thanks Bigs. Yea I keep my anchor in the boat. You never know. If you think you can I'll hold the seat for you. Just get at me and let me know. I finally got my Va numbers on the boat with registration stickers. I replace that depth finder in the pic with a humminbird.
  19. Those Igloo coolers are nice. I do like that compartment lid. dhami013- I want to say the truck box should and could work. When I looked at it, it's very sturdy plastic with latches I think. I don.t recall any drill holes either in the bottom of it. If can find a cooler cheaper go for it but if not it might be an option.
  20. does the lake have a dock number or name so I can type it in for directions? I think I found it online before but not to sure.
  21. about 7,8 years ago I bought a 15' Thundercraft with a 70hp and trailer included. I only paid $300 for the whole thing. A buddy clean the carbs out and the motor ran great. I had to install new electrical wires and lights. New floor, pedestal, and seats. A new rack and pinion steering cable. I might put close to $800 into but well worth it. Ran for three years and got my money out of it. Motor blew a ring. I used that boat for fishing and swimming. I still have the boat and hope to get running this year. I used that boat for croakers and catfish.
  22. Thank you Never thought it would be a pain though. I was glad just to be done with it. Now I just got to re modify my trailer, extend it and get a wrench installed. It's a pain trying to pull the boat up with a rope especially on a steep hill. And change the date on my camera.
  23. I'll have an open seat on my boat if anyone interested. I have a 14' tracker with a 50lb motor. I'm still trying to learn my fish finder( Humminbird 586c) and get use to using a foot pedal motor so sometimes my turns could be sharp and I have a hard time staying in place. I still don't have much clue with the finder to know what I'm looking for but if anyone is interested let me know.
  24. Did he know it was yours?
