x2, me fishing in a nyc public parks I see a lot of home-less. Anyway last summer I was fishing at silver lake (staten island) in broad day light and supposely a drug deal went wrong and the guy was stabbed to death. I talked to the cops, and the scene was only maybe 400 feet from the spot I was at.

Went out sunday evening with my dad at one of my favorite nyc public parks (Wofle's Pond Park). We caught 17 bass total, my dad caught nine, and I pulled in 8. My dad and I are always competing, on who catches the most every time we go fishing, which is pretty much everyday! Who ever wins usually rubs it in on the ride home! We were wading along the banks on the deeper end of the lake, and the bass were on feeding frenzy chasing the bluegill. We were using bluegill patterned poppers and zoom super flukes. We were tied 8 to 8 and it was getting pretty dark, with a full moon glaring down. By the way I stumbbled in the water and was pretty soaked and cold but I didnt want to give up! My dad said only one more cast then all of a sudden my dad pulls in the biggest fish of the night 3.10 pounds. Then he said "its late come on we have to go I have work tomorrow!" LOL. He was waiting in the car for me while I was trying to get 1 more, but no luck. Overall great night, can't be mad!!! ps: Earlier that night I saw an oldtimer' fishing with his waders. He came up to me and the first thing he said was, " you should really get one of these in case you fall in" and he pointed down to his waist belt around his waders!!!

never tried that, eh.... i used to take a spoonful of peanut butter and wrap it in saran wrap, then freeze it.... ...then eat as you would assume... ..guess i just love peanut butter though!! as far as the PB and J's go... i love the peter pan honey roasted peanut butter (crunchy style, only way to go)..... i dont know why other companies dont jump on the "honey roasted bandwagon?" ....as far as jelly.. concord grape baby!!!...all the way! and for your frozen suggestion..... the next time i make one, I'm gonna try that bad boy out........ thanx for the new snack idea man! you Should try Blackberry jelly!!!

I'd say 3.0, maybe 3.5. But still a nice fish!

Im problably going to Manasqaun reservoir, early saturday morning with my dad. Has anyone been there recently with the fall weather coming. Im going to try to find some baitfish and fish the standing timber with jig n a pig,cranks, or spinnerbait TIPS!!! thanks!!!
